Anthony wrote: "house m.d the tv series is gone do you think it should of lasted longer"I've never watched it much but was always amazed to see the star, Hugh Laurie become so well known for drama, as I just saw his funny work with Stephen Fry, and as Bertie Wooster.
Most series go on too long, even the ones i like. Did they wrap up loose ends or did it just go off?

Did you Watch "Detroit 187"? It wasn't as good as I hoped, cancelled, I liked the cast members.
I've taken to watching Primeval (British Television) season one. By the end of the forth show, this really ratchets the intrigue, and mystery up a notch. The action adventure was always there... plus you get all those very English things out of it SAS instead of Delta Force and all. It's a fun show.Sort of the UK Version of Fringe, though that's likely not fair to either show.
I'm more a fan of TV talent shows and documentaries. I also like those crime and forensic shows, like Dr.G, Dissapeared or Fatal Encounters. I've never really liked TV dramas or comedies, just not my cup of tea.

Should do remake.

I watch law and order:svu and Yes dear and One Tree Hill and teen mom and teen mom 2 and 16 and pregnant and dr phil and the locator and 48 hours and 20/20 and dateline
Erin wrote: "Does anyone else watch The Walking Dead? I watch it every Sunday. It's my obsession."Walking Dead is my obsession too!! I love that show.
Love Downton Abbey. Can't wait til it starts again. Breaking Bad; Dateline; 48 Hours; The Americans; The Following.
My brother is really into breaking bad but I don't really see the attraction I'm not sure whether that's because I'm quite young or not. Although I'm quite mature for my age.
Teenreader wrote: "Does anyone here watch Being Human? I think a lot of you are in America so maybe not."I watch Being Human the UK and US version. I like them both. I was a big fan of the UK version and I just knew SyFy would totally ruin it with the US version but they've done a good job.
Anyone watching "The Following"?

Bri, I love Being Human too. The American version that is, never really saw much of the BBC version. Although I did just read that it went off the air. How do you feel about that???
The Following looks good. I like Kevin Bacon.
Dan: I'm ok with the BBC cancelling Being Human. It was time, all the original characters were gone. It lost it's appeal. I have to catch up on The Following, it's been really good. Anthony: "Dead Like Me" was awesome! It was cut way to short. They made movie afterward that was supposed to wrap up the story but I haven't seen it.

Really? They made a Dead Like Me movie???
I've been re-watching Daria on my lunch breaks and I can totally see how watching this as a teen helped cultivate my love of dry humor and wit. They have the whole series on Hulu+,
Anthony wrote: "Dan wrote: "Dead Like Me was a cool show. Why did they cancel it????"dont know but they did do movies of it for sure and the tv series was cool and would love to see a new version"
I don't know about a new version. Let it be...as The Beatles would say.
I wake up early every Sunday to watch The walking dead online because if i wanted to watch it on tv i havetu wait until Tuesday night. They still show Dead Like Me in here! i watch it sometimes but never got really caught by it.
There are several great series going on right now that I won't miss. Five stars to:The Following
The Americans
Downton Abbey (of course). Can't wait until it starts again
The Game Of Thrones series on HBO
Breaking Bad (very intense and not appropriate for younger viewers)
That's the ones right off the top of my head. There are more.
I live reading what everyone is reading, watching and listening to.
I would like to watch The Bible on History right now but Time Warner is crap...half of my channels aren't working!

I l know Downtown Abby and... I seen a documentary on the house... it is simply beautiful!!!
Just watched the first episode of "Bates Motel". It was pretty good. The actor playing Norman Bates has all the physical quirks and vocal intonations of Anthony Perkins. The woman who plays his mother is hot, but I think a bit too young to have a high school age son. I hope the quality of the writing stays at this level.

I think the 1st episode of Bates Motel was good, but I don't know how they can sustain that same storyline for a whole season. I hope it doesn't get too farfetched and stupid, which sometimes happens when the writers are trying too hard to keep something going that should have ended by episode 3.
I have "Bates Motel" DVR'd but haven't watched yet, haven't had a lot of TV time. Been trying to catch up on "The Following" and "Being Human (US)" and gosh, "Games of Thrones" starts Sunday!
In the States, commercial breaks have always been ridiculous. Break before programme, opening part of program, break, credits, break, part of program, 5 more breaks later, end of program, break again before end credits, end credits and what happens in next episode and another break. Here they are limited to to MAX 10 minutes of commercials per hour (and I think i'm being generous in that allocation although I could be corrected). Some of the stations over here (all 4 of them) have been fined for excessive breaks during programming.
Thats why I love streaming my favourite programmes. I can watch when I want and only have to put up with one or two pop ups at the beginning of the program.
Katherine wrote: "In the States, commercial breaks have always been ridiculous. I dont watch the commercials since i record almost all my shows but still if the slot is 1 hr about 20-25 min is commercial and the actual show is really only 40 mins long if your lucky
it makes me depressed you know? Another thing is when shows jump on and off air/ broadcast inexplicably mid-season and play hide and seak with viewers
THAT annoys the HELL out of me. Revenge is breaking for a month for only 2/3 more episodes. Can't figure it out. And Criminal minds is only on every other week.
