The first books of both series are free ebooks. Union of Renegades and Rys Rising: Book I are full length novels.

Tracey Alley (traceya) | 5 comments Hi,
I currently have the first book of my fantasy series The Witchcraft Wars free at Smashwords and Amazon US & UK. Erich's Plea introduces the reader to the world of Kaynos, a complex world comprising many different Kingdoms that is on the brink of a devastating war unlike anything The Kingdoms have seen before. Pitting two different forms of magic against each other it falls to a small group of widely divergent characters to find a way to stop the evil sorceress Shallendara from completing devastating The Kingdoms of Kaynos.

I also post a lot of Flash Fiction free to read on my website - http://traceyalley.weebly.com/ and offer occasional sneak peeks at upcoming works on my Facebook site - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tracey-...

Thanks for the opportunity,
Trace

J.E. Rogers (rogersjeanne) | 2 comments Hello everyone! I write middle grade fantasy with a bit of a twist. I want children to learn something while they enjoy an epic, fast paced adventure. So, the heroes in my book are animals, endangered animals, to be specific. The book includes a glossary so an individual can learn more about the animals who roam the pages, wielding swords and shields. Please visit my Facebook page or my blog. The prologue is available on the blog. The first book will release very soon.
Thank you very much.

Sean DeLauder (sean_delauder) | 1 comments Greetings, everyone!

I'm in the process of releasing the first part of a serial for my second novel, The Least Envied.

Cast back in time to the perilous wasteland known as the West, Andrew is tasked with recording the fate of an individual history has chosen to ignore. Threatened by Wogs, an enigmatic creature known as the Forest Monster, and the man orchestrating the slow annihilation of the world, Andrew discovers all hope for salvation and survival rests with a boy without a history.

If anyone is interested, I'd be glad to ship them a pdf copy.

Or, you're also welcome to a free copy of my thus-far-well-liked novella, The Speaker for the Trees.

Hedge is a typical human—fat and bald, not pretty but not ugly, with a round, doting wife and a farm where he tends beehives. Except Hedge is not a typical human. In fact, Hedge is not human at all, but a plant sent by the Council of Plants and the Plant of Ultimate Knowing to observe humanity and determine whether or not humanity is a threat to the universe. A task he has blithely performed for twenty years. Until the night he receives a message to report back to the Council and realizes he has to leave everything behind.

Pursued by an agent of the notorious Visitors, whose appearances have heralded the end of civilizations, torn between his fellow plants and an awakening affection for his earthwife, Anna, and armed only with a toaster, Hedge must find a way to save humanity from Visitors, plants, and themselves.

If you're interested in either, send me a personal message with your email address.

Thanks, and happy reading!

Just saw this group posted on Twitter. These are the first four in a series of nine in The Chronicles of Guiamo Durmius Stolo. They are available now as e-books and will soon be available in print. Guiamo Chronicles is a historical fantasy series which starts in 60 B.C. and spans hundreds of years covering many of the historical legends, myths, battles and people of England, Scotland and Ireland. It is the story of young Guiamo Durmius Stolo, abandoned at the age of 10. Through the kindness and wisdom of others, his inventive and courageous spirit and a gift from the god Mars, Guiamo will change the world.

The first book is the story of Guiamo's rise to greatness with the subsequent books containing many battles with orcs, dragons and the like.... You can find out more on my blog www.guiamochronicles.blogspot.com

Thanks for starting this group....should be a good place for many of us to connect.

Damon Wakes | 2 comments Hello all,

Just this morning, I launched my prehistoric fantasy novel, Face of Glass. It's free this week (until June 23rd) at http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/... , and I'm keen to give away as many as possible. I'll paste the blurb in here, so you can see if it's your sort of thing:

In ancient days when the island was new, the three elements—Mountain, Sun and Moon—came to threaten Man. One by one, the hero SutaKe challenged these great figures, and with his cunning conquered them. The island now is ruled by Man alone, and SutaKe’s legend lives on through the ages.

But when a foreign merchant brings a new element—Steel—to the shores of the island, legends alone are not enough to resist it. A young slave, ParuMe, seizes the chance to claim an ancient power, and with it his freedom. However, this power comes at a terrible price: it threatens everything he had hoped to gain.

Thanks for reading,
Damon
