Lara, what did you think of Alicia - The Awakening? I've got on the TBR pile.

Sandra, I thought it was okay. It was pretty fast moving, but Alicia was all over the place. Plus, they seemed to always be reacting, rather than planning. But, the end is interesting, with some origin story on the 'vampires.'

Have you read the first book? I had not, and the main characters in that book are not very present in this one.

Yes, I've read the 1st one, but it was a while ago. I've read quite a bit of Tianna Xander over the years, so I'll just go with the flow when I get to it. May have to just read it to get it off the tbr pile.

Usually I just cut & paste for the stars, but every once in awhile I need it. So, I finally got tired of forgetting the formula and put it on a post-it note by my computer.
