I thought Edward was mysterious and that sorta made me like him.

I like jacob.
Edward sounds more like a dad yuck.

I actually felt much more connected to Jacob, up until his character derailment in Eclipse. Edward always creeped me out far too much to ever feel an attachment to his character.

I remember reading when edward gave her the tape for her bday,such a romantic momnet; turned around to look at my hubby and caught him picking his nose, so in a small way i think i had a fictional affair with edward.
Maybe so did Stephenie meyer and that's why she invented him...

Really? I read him completely differently. I thought he was a pretentious, creepy control-freak. Just because he gives in to Bella's temper tantrums doesn't mean he's spineless. I imagine a lot of people give in to tantrums just to shut the other person up.

If i remember correctly, Rosalie was supposed to be very pretty, right? But they for some reason chose this actress with a large ass to play her who wasn't even pretty. Gosh, I really hate Twilight's cast.

I thought rosalie was pretty. I mean she was no Alice (I have a mad woman crush on alice Dx)but she was pretty in my opinion. Also, I didn't fall in love with Edward when reading the books, they made him seem to perfect. Stephanie Meyer even tried to give him a flaw in the last book.: He used to murder rapists. >_>

I fell in love with Edward...I mean who doesn't want a guy where money is no object...wants to buy you anything you want, is immortal and infallible so no one can hurt you because he will be there no matter what to protect you...(as long as he has a future seeing sister).

He's the perfect man...loves, cherishes, protects...he sees no one else but Bella. Yeah...I fell in love with the idea of an Edward. Reality, on the other hand, is painful...lol.

Shamefully, I did. But then I grew up and saw what a creepy asshole he was and got over it pretty quickly.

I read Midnight Sun first (not fully) and his mind was absolutely fascinating. The way he thought about things made him really interesting to me. I read all of Twilight and I did like Edward a lot more. Mainly by the end. His sense of humour had me laughing half way through the night and it was hard not to smile reading the chapters he was in. I finished New Moon and the Truth chapter had my heart
