Hawke came to the Archery Range with Skye. He couldn't see any gods. Just some people training.

Skye walked next to him. A big white wolf bounded up to them. "Hi, Cantha, who's a good god's pet?" She patted it's head.

Hawke looked at the wolf then back at Skye, "Uh..."

"Artemis's pet wolf. The head of her wolf pack." Skye explained.
The wolf sat down and howled.

The wolf sat down and howled.
Hawke watched the wolf howl, Interesting. Hellhounds don't howl. "That means that Artemis is here?" Hawke guessed.

Skye nodded. "Yep, and Cantha just called her over."
The wolf watched as Artemis walked over to them.

Hawke looked at Artemis then at Skye, "I have no idea what to say."

((artemis is a maiden goddess and doesn't like guys, btw. Good percy jackson fact :D))
"Typical of a male to say that." Artemis said, patting her wolf.
Skye smiled. "Artemis, meet my love Hawke. Hawke, meet Artemis, one of my sisters."

Skye smiled. "Artemis, meet my love Hawke. Hawke, meet Artemis, one of my sisters."
Hawke nodded and whispered to Skye so that only she could hear, "How do I annoy her? I can't!"

"Be a guy." Skye replied with a cheeky grin.
Artemis raised an eyebrow. "I suppose you also want Apollo?"

Artemis raised an eyebrow. "I suppose you also want Apollo?"
Hawke pulled back with a confused expression. How does one be a guy? Its easy when you don't think about it but...

      Skye nodded. "Yes please."
Artemis whistled a tune and Apollo ran over to them.
"How are the lovebirds doing?" Apollo asked with a grin, making Artemis roll her eyes.

      Hawke grinned, "Great...wait, no, perfect."

      Skye blushed.
"That's my man!" Apollo put his hand up to high-five Hawke.
"Maturity levels, Apollo." Artemis sighed.

"Maturity levels, Apollo." Artemis sighed.
Hawke didn't 'high-five' Apollo but smiled, "That means stop down below."

Apollo shrugged and dropped his hand. "Like I listen to my little sister."
"Twin! Over how many centuries to we have to argue about it? We are twins!"
Skye laughed. They always did this.

Hawke cocked his head. Hellhounds wouldn't bicker...they would eat each other.

Skye looked at hawke. "They always do this." She remembered what hermes had told her once. "With godly family, they just have to keep on reminding eachother that they are related and keep the killing and maiming to a minamun."
"Hermes said that once!" Apollo said.
"Duh, thick head." Artemis retored.
((a modified quote from percy jackson))

Hawke looked at Skye, severely confused. He watched the 'twins' banter.

"Basically, they bicker so that they don't kill eachother." Skye smiled and stood next to Hawke.
"I'm still the better archer." Apollo said.
"Am not! I am!" Artemis retorted.

"I'm still the better archer." Apollo said.
"Am not! I am!" Artemis retorted.
Hawke nodded, "I can see. Do they do anything other than bicker?"

"They fight together in battles... And they shoot targets to see who is the better archer.
If to prove her point, they had walked 100m away from the targets and were shooting them.

Hawke watched them, "They're pretty good. Can you shoot?"

"Not as good as the twins, but yeah, in a way I can shoot." Skye smiled.

Hawke smiled, "Care to show me?"

"Sure." Skye took the spare quiver and bow that Cantha the wolf had and moved to a spare target.

Hawke watched her. He'd never used a bow. It was always a scythe. The perfect weapon for ripping out souls in the most tormenting way.

Skye slung the quiver over her shoulder and held the bow correctly.
"Wrong way to hold it." Apollo called out.
"She's holding it right!" Artemis countered.
Skye rolled her eyes and drew an arrow.

Skye rolled her eyes and drew an arrow.
Hawke studied the bow and how she was holding it. Nope. He could not do that.

Skye knocked and arrow, pulled it back, and shot. It hit the ring around the bullseye.

Hawke watched with amazement and wonder. Maybe a bow and arrow were heavenly weapons. They worked so differently.

Skye smiled and handed the bow and quiver to Hawke. "Have a go. The best teachers are just over there."

Hawke shook his head, "I'd rather not."

"Please?" She still held the bow and quiver.

Hawke shook his head, "The things you make me do." He took the bow and quiver gingerly.

skye smiled and slung the quiver over his shoulder and brushed his arms into position with her fingers. "Oh, I love you." She whispered, gazing into his eyes.
Aretmis made tut tut sounds.

  Aretmis made tut tut sounds.
Hawke smiled at her, "I know." He kept stiff, not knowing how to position himself with this weapon.

Skye smiled back. "Relax." She whispered, notching an arrow for him.
((bye))

  ((bye))
      ((Bye))
Hawke relaxed slightly and watched her. He would never learn this. Too many controls.

      ((forcing self off))
"Now, pull the string back." Skye whispered.

"Now, pull the string back." Skye whispered.
      ((XD Need a Shove?))
Hawke pulled the string back, as she said to do and waited for the next instruction.

((lol, nah I'm good. Laptop refused to turn off though))
Skye lightly adjusted his elbow to a higher height and stood behind him, making sure his fingers were next to his eyes. "Now, aim and let go." She whispered.
Artemis and Apollo watched eagerly.

      ((:D Stupid Laptop))
Hawke sighed, "I'm going to miss." He remained completely still.

      ((:D I dislike mine too))
"You will not miss." Skye whispered, her fingers still on his arm.

"You will not miss." Skye whispered, her fingers still on his arm.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that," Hawke replied still not moving.

"Hawke, just shoot it." Skye smiled and kissed the back of his neck.

Hawke sighed and shot the arrow. It landed in the edge, 2 centimeters off missing.
