I don't like Gangnam style because its too electronic and I can't understand a word. I'm not really into hat kind of stuff.
I like some rock and roll but sometimes those big power ballads get on my nerve. I like electronic music but I hate Scrilex which is just heavy bass lines with some electronic rifts thrown in which don't have any words and don't mean anything! The only one of those I like is Bangerang. But my whole class loves that stuff and take the mick about me liking old music
Mmmm, my music tastes are eclectic.I LOVE hard rock and metal but also love singers like Bryan Adams. I love the old 80's stuff. Actually I like most types of music. I'm not really into classical or techno and I'll usually choose metal and hard rock over other genres.
Strangely enough I hardly ever listen to mainstream music or stuff that's in the general charts.
Love older stuff like The Doors, Bowie, AC/DC, KISS, etc.
@ Kyle, yep we sure do have a lot in common. I had tickets to go and see Bryan Adams twice and was too ill to go each time, grrrrr. Was so mad LOL Maybe one day I'll get to see him :) WELL MR. KYLE, congratulations on writing a book! I had no idea :) One day I shall read it my friend. I did have a peek through your poetry and it's wonderful. I too write poetry but haven't written new stuff in a long time. (More stuff we have in common ha ha). I've started a few novels in the past but have never gotten very far with them. I used to enjoy writing short stories though.
@ Christine, it's hard just picking certain genres of music. I like all types too :)
@ KyleLOL Kyle, yep you got us ;P ha ha
I can't find your poetry. I wanted to have another read of it. I also wanted to see how you post the poetry (can't remember if I saw it under your profile or where????)
Don't feel like a fraud and of course we are not mad at you. I thought it was funny :)
Oh I didn't know you had a group. Will definitely join it :) Yep, I did think it was funny. ha ha. No feeling like a fraud...got it! ;)
OK, I feel like a twit. I can now see your poetry (yay) but I can't figure out how you managed to make a title that says
Kyle ~Special K: Rebel Leader~’s Writing
and then how you put headings like "poetry" etc. under that.
Sorry to be a pain Kyle. I'm going to plead tiredness (rather than stupidity). It's nearly 6am and I haven't been to bed yet ha ha
Awww, you're sweet. :) I think I'll wait till I get some sleep and then it will probably seem completely clear to me as to how to do it :)
I just joined your group. Not sure if I'm going to try and go to sleep soon (hopefully I'll be able to) but if I do I'll introduce myself etc. when I get up.
Enjoy the rest of your afternoon/evening Kyle.
Erin wrote: "Nope, I agree. It's dumb."Thinking of dumb things and aopologies to those who enjoyed the books and movies, I heard this morning that the Twilight movies sold over $3 billion while the rentals and purchases expect to be well over a million dollars. No accounting for taste, huh?
Jack wrote: "What songs just leave you speechless?""Amazing Grace" always leaves me in tears and "I'd Rather Go Blind" by Beth Hart.
Danielle wrote: "Gangam style song"Ha ha ha!!! I LOVE that song, but I think the only reason I do like it is b/c it's a great song to Zumba to.
Jack wrote: "I don't like Gangnam style because its too electronic and I can't understand a word. I'm not really into hat kind of stuff."I went to youtube and there is a video w/ english subtitles. I don't remember what it translates to though - some kind of lifestyle.
"Por si Acaso No regreso" (Translated- In case I dont return) and "Yo Vivire" (I will live *or survive*) by Celia Cruz will always make me speechless. I don't know if this is true or not but-> Por Si Acaso was one of her very last songs. Its basically a good bye to everyone if she didn't make it (she had brain cancer) and a thank you for everything...
