The Final Test discussion

Katherine followed the map she had snatched from Jane's bookshelf and followed it down. She glanced around, not daring to call Jacob's name. Biting her lip, she turned, running over Jacob's stretched out leg.

Katherine caught herself, her knife in her hand, aimed at Jacob. Her eyes realized who it was and she lowered in back into her boot.

"Do it all the time, but usually not around guys who stick out their leg to trip innocent girls." She smirked back, gleam in Katherine's eyes.

Katherine Frey rolled her brown eyes, sticking her tongue like a child out at him. She flipped herself up and her thoughts briefly went to Raylin, wondering for a second what he was doing. Katherine shook her head mentally, pushing the thoughts away. He had been cold to her. She wasn't going to fool herself into stupid notions. All she could hope for was that he was going to call her from their deal.

"Shush, some Masters or Trainers may be patrolling," she rolled her eyes, but Katherine couldn't help the smile on her face.

"Are you crazy?" Katherine's eyes widened as they saw the phone. She saw Jev Harold's dot on the screen, moving around near her cabin. "Why is he patrolling there," she muttered, asking the question to herself though she had whispered it aloud. Kat's eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"What meeting? I thought it was just you and me... shit, you didn't tell anyone did you?" Katherine asked accusingly as she grabbed the back of his jacket, bringing him to a stop.

((Ian Frey: Katherine's brother who was kidnapped separately from her long ago. She thinks he's dead but he took the test and now is a Master in the town, under the name of Jev Harold. He knows about Katherine but she doesn't know likewise. He understands the importance of the final test))

"Well we can't just go around telling people now can we?" Katherine reasoned. She was a dare devil too but she wasn't stupid.

Katherine rolled her eyes, frustrated, "And who did you tell?" She really hoped she hadn't paired up with a crazy idiot when she wanted to take down Crown.
