Kat heard a knock at the door, and let out a string of curses. She was fighting off two Mogs in the kitchen, and her Cêpan was injured... It was a terrible time for anyone to come visiting. "Kind of—" A Mog pulled out one of their strange guns from the other side of the dining table. She pulled her microwave out of the wall and hurled it at the Mog and table, succeeding in destroying the latter, and temporarily putting the first out of commission. "—busy right now. Come back later!"
Kat let out another curse as a shot from one of the Mogs glanced off her left arm. She pulled a cabinet full of dishes from the wall behind her and flung it at the nearest Mog in sight. Ducking below the counter, she screamed, "Get out!"
Kat stared at the two newcomers in shock, slowly realizing that they were... like her. If she had been a cartoon character, her jaw would have been on the ground. She narrowly ducked a projectile thrown by a Mog. Her Cêpan groaned something unintelligible, and Kat ducked again beneath the counter to pay her attention. She, Kat's Cêpan, was not in good shape.
Kat shook her head, gesturing to her Cêpan. Her mouth moved, but it took a few precious seconds for her to get any sound out. "Anna..."
Kat nodded, her face gravely serious. "I can..." Her eyes gained a funny expression, and she said only, "...sufficiently defend us. Go. I will follow shortly."
"Go," she urged the two boys, nodding her head for emphasis. She gripped the edges of her fridge unit, and slid it out from the wall, paying no attention to the snapping lines and electric wires. She picked it up and followed after the boy carrying Anna. She slid it to block the entryway and ran back to the kitchen.
Nine hopped a fence, landing in a front yard full of Mogs and some guy. Not particularly caring of the repercussions, she shifted into a large lion and began to tear vengefully into the monsters, ripping at throats with vicious abandon. They were finished rather quickly.
Nine licked her muzzle and teeth, then shifted back into her usual humanoid form.

Nine's eyebrow's reached for her hairline. "Not the answer I was expecting. Well. We'll have to see what we can do."
"That there weren't anymore Gardes besides us." Nine shrugged carelessly. "I have been searching for you all for quite some time. It seems odd that I should find so many at once."
"My Cepan was, for all intents and purposes, my best friend, confidante, and brother. He just wasn't strong enough to make it." Nine muttered.
((22 new...))
Kat moved to the oven and turned on the stovetop. She ripped the oven away from the wall and let the propane fill the air. She ran after the two boys and her Cêpan, sliding the fridge out of her way, and tumbled out the front door. The Mogs were still gathering themselves together inside the house. Checking briefly to make sure there were no humans watching the conflict, Kat picked up one of the Mogs' black trucks and hurled it at the house. The sight of the old building consumed in a fireball gave her great satisfaction.
She sighed and dusted her hands off. "Ready to go?"
((Gonna change her personality. She's more of a spitfire than a quiet one.))

Kat shrugged. "Sorry." She didn't seem all that sorry. Her expression softened as she looked at her Cêpan, gaining a previously unseen look of serious concern. She ran to the Hummer and opened the back door, holding out her arms for the boy to hand her Anna.
