Thanks, Mikhail. It has been done by amigdaladesign, in the person of Ida Jansonn. She's talented.
Those were fun to watch. People often ask me if I would like my book to be a movie. My personal answer is, no. If I was dreaming of a movie I would have written a screen play. But I know that a lot of writers love both formats. Do you like to imagine your books on the big screen? What would feel like the bigger accomplishment to you- publication or a film?

Frankly, because to me publishing industry is changing and self-publishing is also the route chosen by long established authors, see for example Jennifer Blake, I'd opt for a call from Hollywood telling me they found the story captivating, and the trilogy to be great for three movies :)

Massimo, it's not really that far out of the realm of possibility. I received an email a year ago from a producer from the Hallmark Hall of Fame asking me for the contact information for my agent (don't have one) because her co-producer had read my book, Calling, liked the concept and thought it **might** have potential for one of their projects. Talk about a total rush!
No, nothing came of it. I never expected it to so I wasn't disappointed, but I'm telling you, I will NEVER delete that email discussion. Thinking about it now, I should probably frame it. :) Along with my first rejection letter. LOL.
So...you never know.
And Regina, why choose? :) I say, if you're going to dream, dream big, huge, gigantic. That's what dreams are for.

K.R., that is an exciting story. Congratulations for catching such an impressive eye. As far as book v. movie, I do see value in both formats of telling a story. I am just partial to literature. Some people believe a book reaches its ultimate potential when it becomes a movie. I think a movie reaches its ultimate potential when it is an amazing movie and a book reaches its ultimate potential when it is an amazing book. It's not that I don't dream big for my book, its just that my big dreams have never included the separate industry of Hollywood. But I am in no way disparaging those who love both. I was just curious if all writers secretly dream of combining the print/visual media worlds.
I would absolutely LOVE for my Z PLAN series to become a movie one day, or even a mini series. My agent thinks it's pretty possible, which means he believes it can happen more than I do. He works with a lot of screen writers and works on some movie sets. Have you guys heard of the book 'Horns'? It was written by Stephen Kings son. They are turning it into a movie. Well anyway, that was the last movie that my agent worked on and he gave my manuscript to the director and screenwriter, just to see if they were interested. I haven't heard anything recently, but just getting it into those kind of hands gets me excited!

It takes a lot of dreaming to make an idea into a story and a story into a book. Maybe we do it because we love to dream?
