Hey fellow book lovers, I have to do this survey for school and I was wondering if you could take the time to fill in this survey. It’s about young people who have side jobs. (or like a summerjob) THANKS SO MUCH!

If you really need this survey, I can answer all these questions, but I'm uncomfortable mentioning how much I earn. Is it okay to leave that blank?

1. What job do you have and on which days?
I'm not sure if this counts as a "job," but as I make money from busking regularly I suppose I'll answer. I used to busk whenever I felt like it but now I've decided upon a proper schedule. Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.

2. Why have you chosen these days?
Cafes are busy (I often busk outside cafes), streets are busy and people have money. :D

3. How much hours do you work?
I have chosen to do three hours a week. XD

4. How much do you earn?
It really depends on where and when I go busking. On the time I have given myself I would say anywhere between $20 and $50 an hour. (view spoiler)[those stingy little... *mutters something unintelligible* (hide spoiler)]

No job :( I would like to earn money, but it is a bit hard when you are only 13!
When I get a job, I want it to be doing something I enjoy, but that doesn't always happen.

You can draw caricatures of people for money, like busking. You'd become rich!

Nah - I'm too much a perfectionist. I take too long! When I'm under pressure (ie. school) to get it done, I can do it fast, but when it is during my leisure I just take too long.

OK then!

1. What job do you have and on which days?
I'm an IT technician/repairman. I work two days a week, the days being Fridays, and Saturdays.

2. Why have you chosen these days?
The reason I chose those days, is because they conflict least with my school and extra-curricular activities (such as hockey, etc.).

3. How many hours do you work?
I work, on average, 12 hours a week. It can be more, and it can be less depending on how much work the shop gets that week.

4. How much do you earn?
I'm uncomfortable answering this. Sorry.

A: I write, and edit for the local newspaper and university magazine. I need to work just any three days. I choose those days at random. Usually Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

2. Why have you chosen these days?
A: It's the beginning of the week, so I have more free time to do other stuff.

3. How much hours do you work?
A: 8 hours a day.

4. How much do you earn?
A: It varies according to the content and project I'm given, sorry I can't just mention that.

I dont have a job!! :( BUT I WANT ONE

That'd be the best job - reading and writing all day... *sigh* dream job. I was thinking about becoming a journalist when I leave school, but informative media seems to be going downhill. It's more about celebreties and social stuff, and that isn't really what I want to do.

Yeah, but you also have all power of mass media. You have it your hands to bring out the truth. You don't have to write about celebs if you don't want to, you can pick up various topics. :)

I love anything environmental, so I might do writing like that. Or maybe environmental science, I don't know yet...

About environment, last month I once got a project to write about the vanishing butterflies in cities, it was fun just walking around the parks and seeing, observing and then writing :)

That'd be fun as! I enjoy drawing as well as writing - so documenting and observing and writing and stuff would be awesome.

Thanks - I'm not that good though. There are plenty of people who are a lot better at it. I just practise and hope I get better :)

"Practice makes perfect" so you're on your way to perfection. :D Maybe someday you'll be world famous and I'll come there to interview you!

That'd be great - but I don't think I'll make it that far :) Maybe you can just interview some other world famous person :)

I will never be perfect though - I am too much of a perfectionist! Nothing is ever perfect for me (well, at least nothing I make! - Books are perfect, sunrises, wolves, etc) so I am either so far away it's not funny or I can never settle for one thing.
*sigh*
It's just the way I am.

Speaking of sunrises...have you ever seen the moon rise? XD
