I'm not a big fan of zombies, frankly I feel the viral excuse for zombies has had its day. I'm more of a voodoo zombie kind of guy and just recently I finished drafting a tale about a suicidal woman who keeps seeing dead bodies in the river every time she tries to jump off a bridge into it. Domestic violence is a central theme as well as rebirth and voodoo myth. I enjoyed writing it and I'll be looking to submit it soon.
What's everyone else working on?

Amanda J Spedding | 10 comments I was a little like you re the zombie stories, but after reading two cracker tales in ME8, there's no shortage of ways to work them, and I think that's a pretty cool thing. :)

I'm rushing to finish a short story sub for ME9 - so it's a modern telling of a myth, with a whole stack of horror thrown in. :)
