"The Lion in Winter" It has Kathryn Hepburn, Peter O'Toole, and the smartest dialogue I've ever heard. What's TPBM'S favorite memory?
Favorite memories are difficult. Are they one's favorite because they are good, or is it because of the impact they've had on you? I have many memories that should be counted as my favorite: the birth of my son, my wedding day, the day my mother took me out of school just to spend time with me. But if I had to choose only one, I'd pick a two week period at the end of December, 2010. First I learned that my company had been sold and there was a very good possibility that I would soon find myself unemployed at the worst financial time in my life. Yet, that same day I received the first proof copy of my self-published book. That weekend, I would speak with my brother whom I had never met and had only once spoken to when he was thirteen, nearly twenty years earlier. And on the 30th of December, I received an email from a young friend, a Marine home from Afghanistan. He he been wounded, but he was home. And alive!
Combined, they are my favorite memory for how they changed me, giving me a new appreciation for what is truly important before it was too late.
And on a lighter note :)...

What is TPBM's favorite quote?
It's a tie: "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" and "Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway" - both by Eleanor RooseveltWhat is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to TPBM?
My favorite book has not yet been written, but it will teach me how to stop skimming threads and missing key phrases such as "least favorite."After reading such a book, I would not think (not even for one foul, disgusting second) that Laura named Brussels sprouts as her favorite food.
What does TPBM drink to get the taste of something bad out of her/his mouth.
The first place that comes to mind is Amsterdam because it's such a beautiful city with a crazy history and a gorgeous new library. What does TPBM want to be when he/she grows up?

Okay, here's how this works. The first person asks a question or poses a statement. The next person to comment, (or the person below them), answers that question. And then that person asks another question for the next person to answer..and so on. Who wants to play? I'll start...
What's TPBM's favorite season and why?
