Clarity walks into the training center, pumped with energy so she goes to the hand-to-hand compat station

((I thought his name was Drake.... and Scott was from the Maximum Ride RP.....))
Clarity turns around, "Ya, what district you from again?" she askes while waiting in line

"Nice, how long have you been training for this?" she askes, trying to keep the conversation going.

"3 and a half years.. almost four...."

"I don't care, I was waiting in line for some hand-to-hand combat training, but if you have something better in mind, Im all ears.."

"Your on..." she said with a smile

Clarity walks to the fighting circle, pumped and ready to go

"Yup"

She ducked and tried to get a kicke at his waist

She went stumbling forward, she was going to have a bruise there tomorrow, if not tonight. She regained her balance and faked a punch to the left, but actually getting a good kick in his right side

She fell down unexpectedly, onto both knees but quickly stood back up, swinging a punch to Drake's head..

She she squared up, and looked, at him. Ready for another attack..

Clarity watched with fists up walking back and forth

It hit her in the stomach and she doubled over. Not allowing herself to feel any pain, she spun around and as Scott was regaining his balance from the kick, she kicked him to the ground so he was flat on his stomach. She quickly got on top of him grabing a hold of his head and neck

She flew over his head, but not before draging her fingers, acciently, along the back of his neck from where she was holding on to him

"Sorry Scott, I didn't mean to...." she said, Clarity knew she wasn't suppost to actully hurt the other tributes until the arena.... she got up and was ready to fight again when the monitor of the hand-to-hand combat came over and ushered them out. Their turn was done. She looked back to see two other tributes step into the ring, before turning to Scott, "Good job, looks like traing for 3yrs has paid off." she smiled

"Thanks. Where do you want to go to now?" she asked

"Ok, hmmmm," she thinks "How bout first aid?" she wanted to stay away from the knife throwing, knowing it was her talent, and wanted to save it for her final evaluation

She followed him and listened to the person running the station go on about infections

Clarity hear someone else walk up and turned around. She saw a little girl and smiled, then turned back to the instruter..

Clarity absorbed as much information as she could, knowing she would need every word of it..

When the instructor finished talking, Clarity turned to Scott, "Where do you want to go now?"

"How about we do some target practice. Bows and arrows, knife, and spears?"

Clarity walks over to the spot where the target pratice is, and picks the bow and arrows, "I have never shot one of these before." she makes sure to stay clear of the knifes..

Gwen exits the camoflauge section, looks around and walks, shyly towards the hand-to-hand combat line

Clarity grabs the other and mimics the way Scott loads the arrows.

Gwen heard someone come up behind her and turned around, seeing another girl, about her age, smiles shyly and turns back around

she turns around, smiling, "Hi, Im Gwen, from district 9. What district are you from?"

Gwen, noticing the sudden change of tone in her voice, frowned, knowing it was because she was from 9. For the past few years, the tributes from 9 havent had the best reputation. She knew that this Karana girl was judging her because of the past tributes from 9. Gwen has always been judged, for being the shy, weak little kid that everyone thought she was. She was sick of being judged, and instantly hated this girl. but said, "You wanna ago head to head in the compat?"

She was suddenly filled with adreline, and couldn't wait to show her how much a little kid could do...

Not far behind her was Gwen

Gwen had her fists raised, knees bent slightly

She went in and closed the space between them and threw a quick punch to Karana's head and a kick to her gut.

Gwen staggars back a step, but before Karana pull her arm back to her body, she grabed it, twisted her wrist and yanked her down to the ground.

Gwen falls but quickly rolls to the side then bounced up, and socked the girl in the head.

Clarity watched Scott shoot some arrows, noting his techquines. She turned toward her own target, raised her bow, inhaled, drew the sting back, exhaled while letting go. She hit the dummy just below the shoulder

"Thanks, but that was just luck...." said Clarity and loaded another arrow

Gwen grunts, coughs once before kicking the girl the most consummate , hitting her in the temple

Just as Clarity let go of the sting, setting the arrow loose, she was startled by the sound of stomping boots toward the hand-to-hand combat area. She arrow ended up in the back wall behind the dummies.

Gwen went to shove the girl to the ground, but was pulled away by several peacekeepers.

"Wow," said Clarity watching the two girls being draged from the hand-to-hand combat center

Gwen's breathing was ragged, and heart was pounding ready to break out of her chest

"I think so, they are what, like 12?" asked Clarity

Gwen was draged from the traing room and escorted to another room where the peacekeepers talked to her. She competly ignored them, but acted like she was paying attention

"I know right." she sighed and went back to shooting. This time she it its knee.. "Shoot," she mumbled

"I guess, but your pretty freaking amazing... Is this your weapon of choice?" she asked?

"Nice," she said, loading another arrow. She was going to hit the targets chest if it was the last thing she did.

Clarity shot another arrow, hitting its arm and loaded another.

The peacekeepers released Gwen and escorted her back to the training center's doors. She walked in and avoided everyones eyes and walked straight to climbing.

Clarity shot another, this time landing in the dummies chest, "Yes!" before she could get to excited, she loaded another, shot it, and it landed two inches from the last one

Gwen scurried up the rope ladder, and back down. She needed something challenging

"Thanks," now Clarity was really excited, but played it off as if it were nothing. New weapon, she picked up a spear. She used one all the time for fishing and was pretty good with it.

Gwen walked over to thow some axes

Clarity thrusted the spear into a dummy, it sank almost halway in,

Gwen picked up an axe, there was one other tribute there, she watched them. Then she tried to mimic what they did, the axe ended up in the shin of the wrong dummy

Clarity threw some more spears, this time she tried to pick different places to hit them, the head, knee, elbow, just to improve her accruacy

Gwen tried again with the axe. Now knowing how it moved after you threw it, she didn't flick her wrist as much, and it hit the dummy she aimed for, only in the arm.

Clarity went back to praticing bow and arrows, as she reached for one, she snuck a glance at the 12 girl and smirked. She wasn't doing it right, but was on her way... Clarity quickly loaded an arrow and it ziped through the air and it the dummies head.

Gwen threw more axes

After she shot 5 more arrows, each going where she wanted them to go, Clarity turned to Scott, "You just about ready to head somewhere else?"

Gwen took a deep breath, and thew two more axes at the dummy, one competly missed but the other landed in the left shoulder. She was getting closer

Clarity walked with Scott, "Is it ok if we try to make some snare?" she asked

Gwen thew another axe to the right shoulder, she was getting better

Clarity walked over to the snare station. The instructor demenstrated how to make a snare step by step, then left them to it and was there if they had any troubles.

Gwen continued to throw axes, one she even stuck in a persons neck. Sounds horrible but it is life or death
