I haven't been to one of these in forEVER (largely because I have a very demanding job that tends to take over my life). So I probably actually haven't met many of you. But I would love to attend one of these. Can we schedule the next one for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon? February 9th or 10th? Weekday evenings really don't work for me because I tend to leave work past 8:00 or 9:00...
Is anyone free this upcoming Sunday afternoon?? I want to see you all and talk books - it's been far too long! Say 1:30-2:00pm at Crema?

I am doing a Best Picture movie marathon this weekend (9 movies in 3 days!), so I won't be able to join you. I would be available on the 24th!
The 24th MIGHT work for me... depends on if I get put on this weekend-long project for work. Let's tentatively say, yes and I will keep everyone apprised. @Loretta - Maybe the 24th, but can't the 18th. Blerg.
@Ann - Ugh, snow again! Make the inconveniences stop!
@Callie - I'm doing a classic movie night every sat night with a friend of mine too! Knocking so many classics I've never seen off the list! Last weekend we did a war-theme and watched Platoon, Full Metal Jacket and Apocalypse Now. So great!
Sorry, but will not be able to make the 24th as already have plans, dang it. Ah well, will catch you all next time around. I need my Crema fix! And speaking of oldies but goodies, just watched Peter O'Toole and Audrey Hepburn in How to Steal A Million. The acting is so over the top, and yet so hilarious. Am reading The Art Forger, so a perfect movie.
Sigh... it looks like I might be heading up to VT this weekend last minute to visit my grandparents. What about the first weekend in March?
I am free that whole weekend! The 4th annual Best Picture Movie Marathon (where we watch all of the movies nominated for the Oscar for best picture) went well, and now I want to read Les Mis, although it is the tomiest of tomes, so we'll see if it actually happens.

I loved, loved, loved the novel, to the point where I refused to see the musical for years because I didn't want to spoil my memory of the book. I'm finally succumbing and seeing the touring company in early may (though I'm waiting to see the film until after I've seen the musical live).

Sorry to miss it. My book group got rescheduled to March 3 due to last Sunday's storm. Hope to see you all next time around.
Crema looks like it has a decent lunch menu (which I will definitely be getting), so that sounds good to me. Does anyone have all our phone numbers or email addresses?
Sounds perfect! I'll see you guys there at 11! We can do our traditional book browsing at the coop afterwards if anyone is game. :)My email: vdeniston@gmail.com
I am geocallie@yahoo.com. Or we can post on here if we need to get in touch. And coop browsing is definitely in order, I feel like it has been AGES.
Okay, I'm cygnette [at] gmail [dot] comI'll try to shoot everyone an email on Friday or Saturday, since it's probably easier to email via smartphone than post here if you need to get in touch at the last minute.
I'm so sad to miss another Cambridge meet up. I hope you guys have a great day! I'm home again in April for Booktopia and for the Newburyport Literary Festival April 27th....you guys might want to check out our line up: Junot Diaz, Steve Yarbrough, Alan Lightman, Barbara Shapiro, Andre Dubus, Matthew Quick etc. :-)

Get ready for your hug, Jennifer! I'm going to remember your name this year!

I'll probably get there around 11:30-12 tomorrow actually. Hope that's okay with everyone! Can't wait to talk books and catch up!
Eep. I seem to have food poisoning or a stomach bug. I'll check tO see how I'm feeling in the morning, but I really suspect I may not make it. :(
callie- just sitting down to bfast. there was a long wait. be over there ASAP! :) I think u have my cell.

I think we're far enough into the new year that things are somewhat settling down schedule-wise. The question is: when are we getting together?! I miss you all!
Any days people are available? Should we do our usual Crema Cafe round-table?
