Frieda - How did you feel about her during the early stages of the book?

I thought she a tad bland, and the plot point of her feeling that she NEEDED Anna was a bit thin. Her purpose, this being a whodunit and all, was just to die.

Frieda was the professional she was, but due to injuries, was compelled to be still and be at the disposal of others. I thought Anna did an especially good job in what she could in keeping her safe, except at the ROCK!

I wish we could've seen more about their friendship... Though I suppose it's hard to flesh out a character who is in and out of consciousness for much of her time. It was also interesting that she was friends with Zeddies sister. Carol- does Frieda show up in any of the other books?
