Per usual, I reviewed it at:
http://sharingtheshelf.blogspot.com/2...
I gave it 3.25 stars, and I feel like that extra .25 is a bit on the generous side, but oh well. I wasn't blown away, and the up down up down up down rocks got a little tiresome. But then, I'm reaaaaaaally not an outdoor girl. Overall, I thought it was okay-to-fairly-good. Vague, I know.

I gave the book 4.5 stars. To me the writing was well done and kept me the reader very interested through the whole book. I really like her writing style, and have and will recommend her works to others.
I would say 3.5. It was difficult for me to picture some of the apparatuses (?) that were used, especially to haul Frieda. And it was hard for me to keep all the characters straight. But it was a compelling story, once I pushed through the first 50 pages. Can't decide whether I want to go caving or never venture below ground ever. I would probably do the main tourist attractions that are lit and paved :)
