Because I love this site so much, and because I'm out of my mind, I'm giving away Part One: Caged of this 5 part serialized story for for all those that subscribe to my email newsletter.
Here's a brief synopsis:
A hungry and homeless boy is kidnapped and forced to fight in a modern-gladiator fighting pit for the enjoyment of Ryker, the Arena’s sadistic master. Given the name ‘Dog,’ the homeless boy must fight every week to survive, leaving behind a trail of bodies -- and ghosts -- as the death matches threaten to take his humanity. Only Allegra, a beautiful slave girl, can save him, but she’s lost everything already -- her family, her innocence, her dignity -- and her will to live hangs by only a thread. Can anyone make it out alive?
