I read it!! It's short and everything you expect from a mystery novel. I highly recommend it for when you can't sleep at night. I suspected every character at some points to be the murderer. (and I was right, but I even suspected Hercule Poirot so that's only logical) A point worth noting is that the story is not scary? I've probably read no more than 3 mystery novels in my life, and one of the main reason I was never interested in them is because I thought they were always hair-rising? turns out they are not.

Kathryn (ke_schultz) | 6 comments I liked it! I just wish that the review on Rookie (spoiler?) hadn't said straight out that it had an unreliable narrater, and I think that I would've enjoyed the book more if I didn't have that knowledge ahead of time. Though, at first, I thought that maybe the only unreliable narrater part was that he was hiding Ralph Paton, but, as half-expected, it wasn't the only thing he was hiding. So it was still a bit of a surprise. Maybe a little gimmicky, but I love Agatha Christie for this sort of thing just the same.
