Here's a place to list your fave words.

I'll start, with a few of my faves:

- Horrid.
(Why? Because it sounds Austen-y!)
- Detest.
(It sounds so much better than 'don't like', or 'hates'.)
- Elementary
(...my dear Watson!)
- The phrase 'funnily enough'
- Literally
- Inconceivable!
(Princess Bride fanatic that I am :D)
- Precious
(No, I'm not related to Gollum)

message 16: by johanna (jo) (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) I'm almost laughing out loud here:

What Is Anatidaephobia?
Anatidaephobia is defined as a pervasive, irrational fear that one is being watched by a duck. The anatidaephobic individual fears that no matter where they are or what they are doing, a duck watches.

Anatidaephobia is derived from the Greek word "anatidae", meaning ducks, geese or swans and "phobos" meaning fear.

"A" is the Latin root for "not", so she doesn't have bibliophobia. (Hope that's what you meant)

message 31: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Abibliophobia is the fear of running out of reading material. And you call yourselves bookworms. Shame.
