What was your favorite/funniest part in the series?

I loved the part in the order of phenix when harry sees snapes memory and lily hates james. i also love in the deathly hallows when herry sees all of snapes memorys before like the big huge fight

Yeah, I liked that part too! In all 6 books I thought Snape was PURE EVIL, but then I read that part and I was like...WHAT?!!!

im all like I did NOT see that coming.

I alos like in The Order of the Pheonixe (movie) when Umbridge puts THREE SPOONs of suger in her tea. I don't know why, but that part was so funny at the moment!!! It still is. And in the 6th book, I liked those Apperating Lesson! It would so awsome if we Muggles could apperate. The closet thing we have to that is TV. :P

OMG in the 5th movie you know how they are listening to the news on a radio? THERE CANT BE RAIDIOS IN HOGWARTS! Because remember in the goblet of fire(book) Hermione said that normal Muggle elextronics dont work in hogwart!

In Chamber of Secrets... Harry closes his eyes because he does not was to be killed by the stare of the basilisk. Did JKR not remember that he was wearing GLASSES! He would only be petrified!

But how do you see a reflection through glasses?

it doesn't have to be a reflection... Justin saw the basilisk through Nearly-Headless Nick and Colin saw it through his camera.

He's not a mudblood!!! So it really wouldn't really matter if he saw the Basilisk or not it shouldn't have effected him! Because James was a wizard and so was Lilly, (though Lilly was a mudblood)but Harry would have all Wizard blood.

Yes, their watches shouldn't work but, when Harry goes to the Wizard Council (in the Order of Phoenix movie) you can see a clock when he is on his way to trial. Sorry, for getting into the middle of your conversation, by the way I'm Sarah.

What do you mean? The Basilics kills everyone; Harry was looking at it the entire time in the last snsce in the moive, why wasn't he dead?!

Yah that is right Fawkes blinded it at the beginning.
BUT!! Remember when either the movie or the book said Salazar created the Basilisk he made it to purge the school of Muggle borns. So why would it have killed Harry? Seeing as he is a somewhat pure blood.(Well there is always the question of what the heck Riddle said to the basilisk in Parseltounge.) And if you think back to any of the victims of the Basilisk, they were all MUGGLE BORN(Hermione, Collin, that Huffelpuff boy,and then Mrs.Norris{not a wizard})!!! Then there is also Myrtle, but she is also a muggle born, seeing as she was killed by the Basilisk.

When did it say Harry was a pure-blood?

When Harry and Ron visit HErmione in the hospital wing, they look at the crumpled piece of paper that was the page from "A History Of Magic". that paper says that It kill from a single glance of its eye. It doesn't specify whether it is for Muggle-borns or all wizards. I bet it would say if it they were the only ones effected.

I don't think it ever really said that harry was a pureblood but james was a pureblood and Lilly was a muggleborn. So he would end up being a halfblood(?)I guess.

The reason it only went after Muggle born bc its master (Tom Riddle) wanted it to. It does whatever its master wants. Lets say To Riddle wanted to get ride of Ginny. He could very well say "Go attake Ginny" And the basilisk would have. And Harry is a pure-blood bc both of his parent are wizards. Your a muggle born if both parents are muggles, a half-blood if one parent is a wizard and the other isnt, and your a pure-blood when both parents are wizards, make sense?
