Shelby (shelcatzoe) Hi Everyone. It's time to suggest books for March!

Please remember to use the add book/author tool so that the suggestions can be counted. Also, second and third (etc) what books you really like so that they'll definitely get onto the poll!

Suggestions open until February 13th
Poll open until February 20th

Courtney With what has sadly and tragically going on in the schools today. I thought I would suggest a book that would let us look into bullying.

Helping Your Socially Vulnerable Child What to Do When Your Child Is Shy, Socially Anxious, Withdrawn, or Bullied by Andrew R. Eisen

Amanda (amandarotella) | 1 comments I figure I would suggest one of the most interesting books that I've recently read. It approaches jealousy, a topic almost everyone could related to, from an evolutionary perspective and addresses its purposes. Pretty neat. The Dangerous Passion: Why Jealousy is as Necessary as Love and Sex The Dangerous Passion Why Jealousy is as Necessary as Love and Sex by David M. Buss

Beth (bibliobeth) That sounds interesting Amanda, I second that.

Chris (blackthorn57) I would suggest a book which is on a similar theme but features a bit broader coverage of Mating and relationship through the lens of Evolutionary Psychology:

Mating Intelligence Unleashed: The Role of the Mind in Sex, Dating, and Love

However I see a poll already released so I am not sure what is happening... Maybe this is a better suggestion for April.

Karol M | 4 comments I just read this graphic novel recently, "Marbles" by Ellen Forney. Not necessarily recommending it a BOTC selection b/c it can be read in just a few hours, but want to recommend it as an easy-fun read about bi-polar disorder. Very enlightening too.

Mrs Froggy I would suggest this one:

Delusions of Gender: How Our Minds, Society, and Neurosexism Create Difference

I think it will be quite interesting.

The poll was for the Member Choice of the month, not the BOTM.

However, though this book sounds interesting, it's so new that the library doesn't have it; hopefully you will recommend it again later when I'll be able to read it (assuming it isn't voted for next month).

Tia (proceedcyclone) | 14 comments I second
Delusions of Gender: How Our Minds, Society, and Neurosexism Create Difference (though I'm aware that suggestions are technically closed). When I looked it up after its initial suggestion, I found it was on my to-read list already!

Randie Adams | 1 comments Try this one... very unique and intense. A recent favorite of mine - Surviving The Fourth Cycle by Nathan Daniels
