Lola walked into the park. She screamed and sat over by the water. She dipped jer feet in and cried.

Rameel saw the crying girl and walked over. "Are you okay?"
Lola nodded. "Im fine." She mumbled. "But you better be careful. It's a terribly awful world, sometimes."

Rameel shrugged. "I'm guessing you're talking about the murders."
Lola nodded, eyebrows raised.
"Im ten, not oblivious." Rameel said.

Ash walks into the park, looking around.

Lola looks over at Ash. She stands up and runs over. She wraps her arms tightly around him. "I'm so so sorry." She says.

Ash looks at her, he wraps his arms around her, "Don't do that to me. I was worried sick."

"I'm sorry." She repeats. "I...." she couldn't finish the sentence.

He holds her close, stroking her hair.

Lola leans against him. "At least we're both okay." She says. ""I'll never do that again." She whispered.

He nods, rocking them back and forth gently, "Please don't."

Lola leans backward so she can see his face. "Never."

He smiles at her, brushing some hair from her face.

Lola smiles. "I truly am sorry." She says. "They have a small pond over there." She points. "Almost as good as the one in the other park."

He smiles, "Lets go check it out." He says.

Lola takes his hand. "Gladly." And she begins to walk to the pond.

He smiles and they walk to the pond, he smiles at it.

Lola looks at the pond and smile. "Do you like it?"

He smiles at it, "Yes, I do."

Lola smiles. "Let's sit down."

Ash nods and sits down with her.

Lola crosses her legs. She smiles. "There's alot more people that come here ovwr the old park." She mumbles.

He looks at her, "Why?"

"I have no idea. This one is bigher, and has a playground I guess." She says.

He nods, "I see...."

Lola made a weird face. "I randomly brought up that topic....I guess I do that alot..." she shrugged.

Ash looks at her, putting his arm around her, "I don't mind."

Lola smiles. "I'm glad." She says.

He smiles at her and hugs her.

Lola hugs him back and lays her head on his shoulder.

Rameel watches them for a little, then leaves.

He smiles at her, closing his eyes.

Lola takes in a deep breath of air and lets her ehes close.

Ash smiles as he listens to her breathe.

Lola breathes deeply and smiles. She was alive, alivehe was alive, neither was hurt. She smiled as these thoughts ran through her head. "Life is perfect." She whispers.

He looks at her, smiling, "Life is what you make it."

Lola smiles. "I'm not sure what to make of life." She mumbles.

He chews on his lip, not knowing what to say.

"Don't answer." She mumbles. "Some comments are meant to be left hanging."

He looks at her, still not knowing what to say, he tasted some blood in his mouth and looks foreward. His arms starting to feel tingly.

Lola chews on the inside of her cheek out of habit. She looks at him and stops, with no idea what to say. "Ummmmm...." she mumbles. "I...you...did anything important happen after I left the pool?"

Ash shakes his head, "Nope. Just you know, getting dressed."

Lola laughs. "There was a kid there that had had a crush on my brother."

"Really?" Ash asks.

"Yeah, his name was Lance. Luke liked him too." Lola whispers.

Ash frowns, "I'm sorry." He said softly.

"Don't be. I'm mor sorry for Lance." Lola says.

Ash nods, looking at the water, in his silent mode again.

Lola takes his hand. She held it in hers and smiled, planting a small kiss on his cheek.
