Hi Calamity!

Offish, though I'd rather not leave, but... my family's about to watch Downton Abbey.

In class, we're doing essays for turning points, which is basically when a personchanges their ways for the better. Or whatever.

The teacher read to us an essay from a student from a nearby city, and it was just sad. It was about a 15-year-old girl who did drugs, she hardly got sleep, she smoked and did a bunch of other things 15-year-olds shouldn't do. Or anyone, for that matter.

One day, she thought she had the stomach flu. After a few weeks, it wouldn't go away. Her friends teased her about how she was pregnant, though they were only joking about it. So one day, she agreed to take a pregnancy test as a joke. And found out she really was pregnant.

She told her friends and went home. She called her mother and told her. They went to the doctors and she took another pregnancy test, then an ultra-sound. The doctor gave her a few adresses for Abortion clinics. And that's what she wanted to do. She was 15, a drug-addict who could barely take care of herself. How could she take care of a child?

The doctor who took the ultra-sound showed the girl her eight-week-old unborn child.

The girl saw the child's fluttering heart, and she couldn't stand to get an abortion. She stopped smoking and doing drugs. She left her friends because they were bad influences. She started taking care of herself, for her daughter. She would have died if it weren't for her daughter. God works in strange ways.

It's called Delirium... It's a dystopian world book, and kind of a 'chick flick' or whatever they're called, but its really good even so.

I think I've heard of Delirium... I'm not sure. I'll have to look it up, but it sounds like a good book ;3
