Aelita Eowyn Fowles pushed her shopping cart along the aisle containing pasta. Her long brown hair was loose around her shoulders, for she had not wanted to do anything to it that morning. She examined the bow-tie pastas, trying to decide which to buy.

Arthur walked into the store, planning to go quickly as he wanted to go to the bookstore to find a book he'd wanted for ages. His walk through the pasta isle was impeded by someone's shopping cart, and he blushed when he realized whose it was. "Hello, Aelita." He said, smiling and trying to conceal the fact that he was blushing.
Aelita turned, a bag of pasta in one hand. "Hello, Arthur," she replied, her voice soft. "It's a pleasure meeting you here." She dropped the pasta into her cart, wincing slightly at the resounding crackle the bag made as it hit the metal. She shot an embarrassed smile at Arthur and straightened.
"It's lovely seeing you here as well." He said, grinning and running a hand through his hair; effectively messing up the gelled part. Arthur blushed as he realized that one of the things he needed was right behind her, and quickly leaned past her to get it. The smell of her perfume distracted him as he did so, and he dropped the Ramen Noodles into her cart by accident. Leaning over to pick it up, he hit his head on the edge of the cart, and somehow, he ended up sitting on the floor, slightly dazed.
Aelita gasped and knelt beside him. "Oh, my, are you alright?" she asked in a rush, observing his face. "That was quite a bonk."
Arthur laughed, "oh, I'm fine. I'm just clumsy." He said, and blushed furiously, thoroughly embarrassed. Standing up, he held out his hand to pull her up.
Aelita took one last look at his face, making sure that he wasn't going to pass out on her, then accepted his hand. "Alright, if you're sure..." she replied. "Thank you."
He smiled, pulling her up, letting his hand linger a second to long on her arm before pulling it back, blushing slightly. "Of course I'm sure." Arthur replied, grinning and running his fingers through his hair again.
Aelita didn't speak, noticing only then how close she had gotten. Why had he let his hand linger...? "S-sorry," she stammered, blinking out of her stupor. She had been silent for longer than necessary. She shot Arthur a soft smile.
Arthur smiled at her, figuring he should now out of the conversation before he embarrassed himself further. "I should probably go." He said, slightly unwillingly, before steeling himself and nodding at her, "nice seeing you Aelita, lovely talking to you." He said, turning and walking down the isle.
Aelita nodded, smiling. "Yes, alright, lovely talking to you, as well," she called after him, eyes lingering on his retreating back. She shook her head, trying to move her mind onto other things as she continued her shopping.
Arthur turned to glance at her as he turned out of the isle. He shook himself, and then continued on with his shopping, making his way to the checkout when he had an almost full basket.
Kylie rushed into the grocery store, being very late for work. She apologized before making her way behind the counter to serve as the cashier.
Aelita, having completed her shopping list, made her way to the cashier. She began loading her groceries onto the belt.
Zia spotted a large apple that, unlike the others, was spotless. She reached for it, knocking most of the other apples off at the same time. "Oh, puzza," she said, under her breath.
Arthur finished, and with a nod to Aelita, left the building, deciding to go to the bookstore. He got onto his bike, placing the grocery bags into the basket, and biked away.
Aelita payed for her groceries and made her way out of the store.
