Modern Book Collecting discussion

I have been collecting Richard Laymon probably longer than any other author on my shelves. The strange thing is my collection of Laymon books is rather small. The problem I have with adding Laymon novels to my collection is the price tag. Richard Laymon titles are not cheap, and the signed editions can get expensive.

I'm a frugle person and I always look for the best deals, this is a bit of a hindrance when collecting popular authors, past or present.
