Aria was welcomes at Bace camp. She was now their top archer. she held her loyalties for herself, and did not allow herself to trust anyone else, but for now, this felt more like home. more like family.
Aiden and Hayden ran stealthy through the forest that was just beyond the garden. They were so skilled it was impossible to hear them, even despite the heavy armor they were wearing. It was nothing like the colorful guard uniform Hayden had to wear daily, instead it was completely black. Everything was bullet proof, including the helmets which had night vision. Hayden hated the helmets because they tangled his curly hair. In the right corner of the screen in their helmets was a small square telling them how far they were from the rebel camp. When they could make out the torches, Hayden motioned to Aiden to climb a tree. Aiden reached the top before Hayden had made it half way. When Hayden finally did get to the top of his tree, which was right next to Aiden, he heard the boy curse. He was zooming in on the faces of the rebels, and he saw who Hayden had feared would be there: Aria. The armor and helmets covered their entire body, so when Aiden spoke only Hayden and the leaders back at the palace could hear, “After she made me look like a fool in front of the King, there she is.”
Hayden sighed. He didn’t want to have to kill her, especially when he had a feeling he had given her the advice that made her join. It was going to be messy knowing how many people in the palace cared about her. But, it was his job, so he knew when the time came he wouldn’t hesitate to take her out. Stupid girl.
“Yes, well, let’s hope the smell of so many unwashed men will kill her.”
Aiden scrunched his nose, though no one could see it, “True, I can smell it from up here.”
There was no response. Hayden was busy focusing in on different rebels. He took photos and video. Making sure to zoom in on their weapons, “It looks like the Northerners, judging by their pale skin. That means no deaths at least…well on our side. I personally can’t make any promises for theirs.”
A faint swallowing sound could be heard from Aiden. He didn’t really like the idea of killing anyone.
Hayden on the other hand was becoming furious. Any small allegiance he had with Aria was now severed; she was just another filthy rebel to him. He reached into his back “pocket.” It was more like a carrying case, since it was made of armor. He pulled out a spit gun and aimed it at the top of their biggest tent. After that he placed a camera that was connected to his helmet on the tree he was sitting in, he would be able to watch the camp from afar. Then he motioned for Aiden to follow him back to the palace.
When they were securely in the garden, that’s when he saw Aria move closer to the tent to get a better look. He had known it wouldn’t take her long to notice the blinking red light. Ideally, he had wanted the entire camp packed close to the tent before setting off the bomb, but he’s settle for ¾. Hayden clicked a button on his wrist, and from the left corner of his helmet he watched as the bomb exploded. Aria looked like she was just about to shout a warning, but the blast threw her back before she could. Hayden couldn’t tell if she was dead, but she was definitely injured. Several rebels were clearly dead. And a couple had had limbs blown off; these people would probably die quickly as well. In his ear he could hear Aspen screaming at him. It was just supposed to be a recon mission, no attacking. But, Hayden couldn’t let Aria go unscathed. She knew too much about the palace. Where everyone hid, the secret passage ways; not to mention she had excellent aim. Hayden hoped one of her fingers was blown off. All he needed was one of her middle fingers to be gone and she’d be useless.
They went straight to the briefing room, where they found General Aspen looking like he could kill someone and poor King Maxon looking like he was going to have a headache for days.
Aria had been blasted away. "Hayden" she screamed. her leg was bleeding badly, and she had a massive headache. 15 were pronounced dead that night, and Aria was one of 10 injured. Out of them 500 people they had here, no one had hurt anyone form the palace, and now, the palace people, her old family, had killed so many. it was time to fight back. Thankfully, Synthia was able to get a tracked on Aiden. stupid boy.
Tylor and Synthia got everyone ready to attack. they knew where the secret passages of the kingdom were. their main priority was to get their hands on the selected, or even better on prince Aaron or Princess Madeline. Within the hour, they had moved their camp 5 miles to the East, closer to the Palace.

((I don't understand how she tracked Aiden, or why she would since they didn't set the bomb off until they were way out of range. It's not like they don't know where they are going...You really don't like Aiden do you?))
((they knew they comming. and they were stationed in the trees))
