Hi, Monica! I agree that a lot of series I've read are just the same old thing over and over. I was really into Knight for awhile, but got bored eventually. I think some fans really like the same characters each time, just a different mystery. Personally, I much prefer series that have character development with each book. So much more fun!

Has anyone read The British Library Crime Classics collection - some of them, all of them, whatever?

I notice they are all by different authors and wondered if they are any good or worth starting to read.

I haven't read any, but a few people I follow have. They're comments are that most are good, but there's the odd miss.
