Yeah, that didn't help me any.. just move on to the next one.
You're so missing out. Incredible series and I don't get why people say that... I see NO religious stuff in that book series. -_- Guess I get too sucked in to the story to even care if it has religion in it.

Religion thing
I do not recall a killing of god or any mention of that in the book. The movie was crap anyways. But there was a war with angels and angels can be no religious.
*grumbles about the suppression of children and their imaginations.* I am proud to say I've read a book series people want banned!!! :D
Kayla, I went through a period in my life where I tried to read all the banned books I could just to see what all the fuss was about. I feel very much the same way you do about suppressing imaginations. Sometimes people just have to do what they think is right. Blueturtles is ok to think that way and maybe one day when she's older she may take a chance and enjoy. There are so many great books out there for us to enjoy...its no biggie if we skip one here or there. :) I definitely will be getting around to that series soon!
oops! almost forgot...Garth Nix
Sabriel, Terciel
Never read it but it sounds good
Jemima J: A Novel About Ugly Ducklings and Swans

And I found out today that it IS in the books. It just says it in a way you can hardly tell!
Angels aren't always part of religion. That's what I'm trying to tell you. Angels, though perceived to be beings of god and incredible creatures of beauty an peace, angels are not just peaceful beings. They are also used to terrify humans into better lives. I didn't call you a child, I was referring to children in general.

They do God's will for him. They do not terrify people. Those are deomons. But they don't scare you into being good, they want you to be bad. You should reread it and be more open minded about what i'm saying cause I've had more people to agree with me today about this.
Okay. I'm not going to sit here and argue with you. I believe what I believe and you believe what you believe. That's how it will always be. I am open minded, that's why I know angels do both good and bad for god. I intend to read that series again, so I will see if I get any religious views off the books.
thanks no ofence or anything i do like you, you know. i just get protective over that kind of stuff. and thanks for reading it again to see it from my point.hahaha this wasn't a good way for us to get to know each other...
(it's God, capital G)
