I didn't read any of it. I hope she waits like, two years and then finishes it.
Why do you want her to wait???????? That's crazy!!!!! Read it now! Or I'll print it and give to you, strap you to a chair, and force you!
yeah I alsp hope she will finish it soon, I Really like reading books I like from both sides. and it feels like you know Edward much better. :)
I thought that it was really interesting because you also got to see the inside of other peoples heads as well... not to mention... more of the Cullens! I thought what she did originally was awesome... (posting just the first chapter) I wanted to die when I read that.... You should read the other take outs she had... they are pretty entertaining....
246 pages (or was it 264 - I can't remember!) of the partial draft and it was amazing. She has to finish the book, and publish it. I feel bad that the draft got leaked, but I still hope she will get over it soon and get the book published.Funny story - it's related to this. At my school on April 1st, our school newspaper decided to publish this really cool edition that was meant to fool people. There were many articles about changes in school rules, school organizations/teams, celebrities doing crazy things, etc. One of the articles was about Stephenie Meyer and it said that she was going to be publishing Midnight Sun and they even included a picture of the book with the correct font, theme, and stuff. So many people got so excited, and believed the article. Obviously it was a joke, but it was fun to see so many people get their hopes up about this. So, Stephenie, if you ever read this, I hope you realize that a lot of people are out there to support you and respect your decision, but we all would like you to publish the book as soon as you feel better about it!
Bahaha that would have been awesome! I hope she does soon.... or she should just publish an unrelated book... I do like her books...
Well bummer for everyone is that Stephenie said she is only going to start writing it again when everyone forgets about it. Could be a long wait!!

True, her writing in the Twilight series was very limited but those were her first works. In The Host, I noticed how much SM's writing improved. I think that book was completely original, and very creative. I really hope she publishes something soon though. Midnight Sun was really good, and I loved all that I read. I enjoy Edward's perspective a lot because he over analyzes things at a deeper level.
Can we all give a sigh for Edward please? (Instead of a moments silence)...Sigh...
No one is going to forget about Midnight Sun! So just do it girl!

I know, seriously. If I ever meet SM, that's probably the second thing I'd tell her. (Number one being: "You are an amazing author. I love your work, and have enjoyed every single one of your characters, Edward especially. Thank you!")

Completely understand. I would probably say something like "Oh my gosh! I love your books and you are so inspiring. I am sooooooooooo in love with Edward. You HAVE to finish Midnight Sun, or I will die." Yeah, I know. Exactly like an obsessed fan. But that's what I am. Ha

I would tell her that I loved the character of Emmett... (I bet you didn't already know that) and then I would ask her what her plans were in general... that way I could know if she was planning on just writing another unrelated book or is sectretly finishing Midnight Sun....
If it was secret, she wouldn't tell a crazed fan. Maybe I could pull off the gonna die soon, last wish thing. Maybe not.
Arizona, duh. We stalk her, camp out nearby just to make sure she's home, then we pounce with the trap in hand! *Evil laugh, that doesn't sound quite right* Sorry had to put that in there.
Do you want to organize the plan to stalk Stephanie Meyer and find out about Midnight Sun? You seem like you would know what to do.... : )
Sure! Like you would even have to ask. Ha ha. I'll get to work on that right after I figure out a good convincing disease and reasons for my parents to allow this.
I'm reading the draft now - I love it!
I know...you get this whole new understanding of Edward. After reading all the books from Bella's perspective, I thought Edward couldn't get any better, but then Midnight Sun was posted up - BAM!, Edward gets a bazillion times better! :D
I finished it! It was so amazing! Edward is so amazing!
It bears repeating.
I loved how Edward felt so indepted to Angela. And the scene between Emmett and Edward at Goat Rocks. And when he's at the piano.

Isn't it just wonderful? *looks wistful and swoons*
I told you should read it. Yay! Edward is the best!

You know, from Twilight I mentally got the idea of how hard Edward was working to resist...but it never clicked until I read Midnight Sun.
Yes. Oh, and I never had any idea he was there watching a whole bunch of stuff that happened. Like, after she was reading Jane Austen...poor Edward.
You just have to love him after reading Midnight Sun... I love the fact that he kept the soda bottle cap.... it was his inspiration...
Details...details...Yes, Midnight Sun really allows you to understand Edward, and get closer to him. For once, you get the story without all the "oh, Edward your voice is so velvety, you are so strong, and you are talented at everything!" and see more of Edward's character, and personality.
True. And, as usual, I love how the Cullens/Hales work together and act.
Absolutely loved it when Alice foresaw that he was going to fall in love with Bella. And Rosalie is all like "That's classic Edward." Wanted to smack Rosalie for that.
O wait, this was Midnight Sun. Let's get back to Midnight Sun.
*Remembers last hugging experience and backs away quickly.*
Interesting is an OK word to describe that conversation.
