Sacrifice of Passion, by Melissa Bourbon Ramirez, is a romantic paranormal read. It deals with the legend of the Chupacabra, a mysterious creature that is rumored to attack livestock and drink their blood. The legend is one that is both terrifying and mysterious.

Because we at Entangled love a good legend, we thought it would be fun to host a contest where you get to share with us your favorite scary legend. What legend makes you pee in your pants Or turns your hair white? Which one leaves you sleeping with the light on when you go to bed?

Share your legend with us in the comments below for a chance to win one of ten copies of Bare-Naked Lola by Melissa Burbon Ramirez. Winners will be chosen on Wednesday, February 13, 2012.

Melody May (What I'm Reading) (belle_93436) | 5 comments The story that freaked me out was the story about the family in who lived in former morgue in Connecticut. There was a movie made about it called HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT. However, I saw the documentary and was so freaked that I had the lights on and started reading the bible.

Melissa Bourbon (melissabourbon) That sounds so creepy, Barbara. What part of the country? Chilling.

Melissa Bourbon (melissabourbon) I didn't know Haunting in Connecticut was based on something real! Very freaky. I can write great suspense, but I'm a wuss when it comes to watching scary movies!

Debbie | 1 comments When I was a kid I had a fright after touring the land where the infamous Little Green Men of Kelly landed. The adults had just told the story in a dark room lit by the logs burning in the stove or fireplace and we were putting on our coats in the square entrance way. The door to the back and the outhouse was directly across from the front door. When the front door was yanked open - tight because of the cold - it made the door behind us slam open against the wall and jetisoned me out into the dark night with something grabbing at my coat. My mom caught me just before I ran off the steep drop on the edge of the front lawn. The X-FILES printed a version in a comic which disappeared into my husband or son's collection, but I wrote my own version as a short story for my kids using my recollection and old newspaper clippings.
