An abandoned building in October. The building is crumbling and unsafe.

Ashton stood looking at the old building, holding a lamp so that she could see better. She never minded it being dark in October, only the fact that she could never see were she was going. Annoying as it was, it never stopped her from taking walks along the dark empty streets. Running her spare hand through her pink hair she sighed. Being the leader of October put presser on her, it only added to the stress of the disappearance.

Tempest walked around outside the building. She'd dropped Kiria off at somebody's house, and hoped to never see her again. Sadly this person was only a babysitter and would soon give Kiria back to Tempest. But Tempy had 6 more hours all to herself-no little sister included. She'd immediately come to October because she liked the darkness, bringing a can of paint and a paintbrush. Her plan was to draw some 'art' on the building. Then Tempest saw Ash and growled under her breath. What was this pink haired girl doing her? She would ruin Tempy's fun!

Ashton taking note of a dark figure out of the corner of her eyes turned, her lamp illuminating the figure. Ash sighed. This girl didn't seem to be from October, at least she guessed no, she had never seen her around and being a leader she had to keep track of who was who.
"Lost?" She ask, her eyes glowing with annoyance and boredom.

Tempy wrinkled her nose and sneered at the girl. "Do I look lost to you? You're the one who looks lost, staring at the freaking building and doing nothing." she snapped. She whipped her head back to the building and examined it closely.

Ashton made a small gasping sound, barely audible. "I live here. At least I have a bloody excuse, do you?" Ashton was already thinking of adding her to the list of conceited people in this world, or what was left of it.

"Maybe I do, and maybe I don't. It's none of your business, is it? Leave me alone, brat, and please fix your hair. It's freaking unnatural." Tempest snapped. She pulled the lid off of the paint can and dipped the paintbrush in. Then she started to make the first strokes of her drawing on the building.

"Excuse me, that thing your doing. Its called Vandalism, I don't know if your from here, but Im a leader not some "brat" " Ashton's nerves were ticking like clockwork. This girl had a problem and Ash didn't like it, one bit.
"And so sorry you don't like my hair, maybe stab your eyes out, you won't have to see it anymore" She said sarcastically.

Tempest snorted. "Just because you're a leader doesn't mean you can't be a brat. You should know that, being a 'leader'. A chosen, ever-so-special leader. And it's an abandoned building, the wretched wastes of spaces get vandalized all the time." Tempest snapped, completing a drawing of a head. Then she drew it's eyes, but made one of the eyes look like it had been stabbed out.

(its just a reminder, I usually wait a few hours before reminding people. Sorry, I wont do it again)
"So you arn't from around here then? You didn't know who I was nor have I seen you here before. What are you doing in October anyway? Not the best place to take a vacation" She retorted sarcastically.

"Ooh, I wonder if the other leaders would like you bashing your town like that. Not the best place to take a vacation. Would you like to add of that list of insults? On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you dislike your town? And I already told you, you deaf moron, it's none of your sillyminded business where I'm from. So why don't you go back to thinking up creative ways to insult your town, hm?" Tempest sneered.

Ashton glared, walked up to the girl. Now only a couple feet from her. "Seriously? I meant this-" She said gesturing to all the darkness around them. "If your gonna be rude and insulting, go back to your own town. I wonder how they stand you there" Heat rose to her cheeks as anger took over her features, making her hair look more pink.

"Hm, I was just thinking the same about you." Tempest said. "How do the people stand you here? Why did they even vote for you to be the leader? Because you came up with the best insults?" Then she lifted her bucket of paint and dumped it over Ash's head. Tempest smirked, feeling triumphant.

Ashton gasped, holding the lamp out of the way so it didn't go out. The paint covered her hair, dripping onto her jacket. "Are you kidding me" Taking a hand and scooping some paint out of her hair, she threw it into Tempest's face "Do that again, I dare you" Taking a cautious step back as she did so.

"I would do it again, if I had any paint left. Oh, wait, I do!" Tempy exclaimed, using her still wet paintbrush to pain an X on Ashton's chest. This was turning out to be fun! Maybe Tempest should try painting her sister sometime.

Ashton sigh, using her hand trying to get access paint from her hair and clothes. "Love to stay and act like a 5 year old with you, but Ive got to get home to Max" She cringed, mentioning her cat. He had been alone all day, he would be grumpy and so would she if she didn't get this paint out of her hair.

Tempest glared at Ashton. "Who's that, your boyfriend?" she asked, disgust in her voice. This was highly disappointing to her. She wanted Ash to say so that she could continue to annoy her.

"Actually, my kitten" Ashton said, sighing. She could feel a headache coming on. "He is going to be ticked at me if I don't get back to him"

Tempest wrinkled her nose. "I hate cats. And kittens." she said. "They're only trouble." She couldn't even finish her drawing now.

"Well he is my only family now since this all happened" She said, looking around. "Everybody has lost someone, Im just lucky enough to have at least a Cat"

"Better than having a bratty two year old to take care of. You've wasted all my paint. Now I can't finish my art. Which my parents hated so much." Tempest said angrily. she gestured to her half finished drawing on the wall.

Ashton gave her a puzzled look, and giving her half finished drawing a sideways glance. "Ignoring everything that just happened, your art is pretty good" Ash shrugged "Sorry that your parents hated it, there loss"

"Thank you." Tempest said coldly. "They hated everything I did. They didn't understand me." Her parents had tried to understand her though. They just couldn't. Tempest kept her eyes on her picture.

"What about your sister? Why hate her?" Ashton said, trying to ignore all the paint making her clothes cling to her body. "When...when my baby brothers disappeared I would do anything to get them back"

Tempest wrinkled her nose. "My sister is a brat. I would love it if she had disappeared with my idiot parents." she said, as though tasting something bad in her mouth.

Ashton stayed silent, glancing behind her as if to check that no one was watching. "I have to get back" She looked back at tempest, taking note of the paint that was all over her. "I know we just met but I wouldn't want you to walk back to your town like that. Talk about unconformable, would you like to come to my apartment? Its not that far away. You could shower and get a change of clothes"

"Like what? My face looks like it's covered in blood, I've gone back to my town looking much worse." Tempest sneered. A shower didn't sound nice at the moment, though. "And I never even learned your name."

"Ashton Carlos Carstairs" Ash said, smiling slighty. She always loved using her full name. "Most people around here call me Ash around here though. and yours?"

"Tempest Hollistere." Tempest said plainly. "And anyone who calls me Tempy regrets it." Tempest smirked. Not even her little sister called her Tempy.

"Temptest, matches your personality" Ash said smirking. "Shall we get going or do you still not trust me?"

"Fine." Tempest said carelessly. "I'll need to go find a paint store to get more paint afterwards. I'll just paint the buildings in my own town." Her own town, and all the others except for this one.
