A large park in December, with snow coating the ground thickly.

Pascal trudged through the thick snow, as she fixed her scarf which had fallen off her face. She sighed, as the wind picked up around her, causing the ten year old to shiver.

((Is there someone else you've planned an rp with here? If not, I could send in one of my charries, if you'd like.))

Kitty walked around the park, wearing a sweatshirt and pants. She was visiting December because she wanted to see the snow and have a break from the dark. She'd never been to December before, even when it wasn't so snowy.

Pascal kept walking, looking at Kitty was she walked. The younger girl gave the older a small smile, although unseen due to the scarf.

Kitty blinked a couple of times. Why was that girl looking at her. Kitty gave a nervous smile and a little wave. She was already freezing though, her fingers felt very numb.

"You should be in a coat Dude" Pascal pointed out, a bit of amusement in her voice, not wearing a coat here in December, was a mistake a person only made once.

"Well, I uh, kinda just grabbed a sweatshirt first. I, um, didn't think I would need more than that." Kitty stuttered, mostly from the cold. Also, she wasn't sure what to say to Pascal's remark. "And...I'm Kitty." she added.

Pascal held her gloved hand out to Kitty "Pascal" She responded, her scarf slippimg down again, much to her annoyance.

Kitty nodded, taking Pascal's hand and shaking it. "I'm just visiting December. I've never been here before." she said. "Do you live here?" It seemed like a normal question to ask. She also wondered exactly how old Pascal was.

Pascal nodded as an answer to both questions "Well believe me when I say, not wearing a coat here is a mistake you'll never make again" The 10 year old joked "So where are you from?" She inquired.

Kitty nodded. "Definitely always bringing a coat to December. I'm from October, the dark town. I needed a break from having to carry a flashlight everywhere." she said, adding a smile. She strongly disliked being in the dark all the time.

"I would take the dark over being freezing anyday" Pascal admitted with a sheepish chuckle. "Do you wanna do to my place, it's warmer there" Pascal offered, mostly wanting out of the cold herself.

"Um, sure!" Kitty said. Pascal probably wasn't going to try to murder her or something. She looked a few years younger than Kitty. "How old are you?" Kitty added.

((That's okay))

"10, but I'll be 11 soon" Pascal answered, as she began to walk towards her home. "I warn you my house is pretty busy, I have 4 siblings" She said, looking towards Kitty.

"Cool!" Kitty said, and walked next to Pascal. "All younger or some older? I've got a twin and older brother, but they ignore me a lot."

"3 younger and 1 older, we all get along most of the time" Pascal responded with a smile, before feeling a pang of sadness, as she missed her parents and oldest brother.

Kitty nodded. "Good." she said. "So, uh, how has your day been?" It was moments where she wasn't sure what else to say when she asked random questions like this.

Pascal chuckled a bit at the question, although it was only heard by herself. "Eh, normal. Hung out with my siblings, before I left to find a job. What about you? How are you finding December?" The younger asked.

"Cold. I find it very cold, but pretty! Where did you get a job? My older brother is thinking of making me get one. My sister already has one too, but she thinks I'm too clumsy to get one." Kitty said. It hurt her feelings that Sadie thought she was too clumsy for a job. Twin sisters weren't supposed to think that! Well, maybe they could think it, but certainly not say it out loud around their sister repeatedly!

Pascal shook her head "I don't have one yet, everywhere I look, no one wants to hire me because I'm so young" Pascal responded to Kitty, as they got close to her house.

Kitty frowned. "If I was a store owner I would hire you. Does your older sibling have a job?" She asked. She hoped for Pascal's sake that this older sibling did have a job. It would be hard for Pascal's whole family if the older sibling didn't.

"Yeah, he nakes clothes for the other towns, but with the 3 little ones around our place, it's just not enough money" Pascal admitted, wishing that she was able to support her siblings more.

"I wish I could help." Kitty said, truly wishing she could. Sadie and Alexander gave her a small allowance, $2.00 per week. And Kitty mostly stayed around her house, watching T.V and cleaning.

Pascal shrugged as they got to her house. "It's alright, we'll get by. We always have" She assured the other girl. Pascal opened the door to her house, surprised that it seemed to be quiet for once.
