I really would like to read the New World by Patrick Ness, but I dun have an e-reader, nor the patience for online.
It also be cool to read a buncha mythological related epics(Odyssey, Metamorphoses, Aeneid.)

It be cool to see wat y'all wanna read and possibly get ideas also, maybe you could get some ideas from me too ^^

I've read New World. It's good, but sad :(
I like Todd's view better.

I was reading The Perks Of Being A Wallflower but it was so BORING! I also gave up on Twilight, ugh! Warm bodies is turning out to be good, as is Life Of Pi.

Zeterniouss (ofchocolateandvanilla) | 35 comments Mod
isnt warm bodies about zombies or sumthin like that.

message 4: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments ya it is... i'm warning you now, though, the book wasn't very action packed... but it was still good

message 5: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments em and jon, you guys would love the Unwind series... oh my god, they are sooooo gooooood! (not as good as MR, obviously, but still good!)

arent there another series by Dashner? theres at least 2 others i know of

message 7: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments also, you would like The Enemy, Rot and Ruin, Enclave was good (its from a girls POV though), and if you haven't read the lord of the rings... those are always good books! but ya, i think you guys should check those books out

message 8: by Vee (new)

i own The Lord of the Rings: The Art of The Fellowship of the Ring, but couldnt finish the first chapter(BEGAN THE KNIFE OF NEVER LETTING GO!!! MR AND KNLG ARE THE BEST BOOKS IVE EVER READ! :)

message 10: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments i have the KNLG on my kindle... but for some reason i just.... the way the words are written, its hard for me to read. like, it's hard to read the accent, idk, but if you say its good, i guess i can try to keep going at it

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

We have all the lord of the rings books and I'm half way thru the hobbit, which is really good, but haven't read it for a while :( what's Unwind about?

Infinity ring - by James Dashner. I think it's for younger kids tho

message 12: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments Unwind: its like after a war, and they made it legal for parents to offer their kids to be "unwound" aka... they chop their bodies apart and stitch them on to other people (in their society if you break your arm.. intstead of getting a cast, you get a whole new arm) its fucked up, but its so damn good

message 13: by Zeterniouss (new)

Zeterniouss (ofchocolateandvanilla) | 35 comments Mod
That's sounds AWSOM!!!!! ^^ gotta luv bodies being chopped and all the gore… mouthwatering

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Omg that sounds scary... haha

message 15: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments theres this part of the book where its from one of the teens POV who's getting chopped up... it was freaky as hell... he described the numbing and tingles perfectly... (they are awake through the procedure) oh my god, it felt like i was being unwound... so amazing

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't think I can read that... It's making me cringe already :/ lol I'm so weak hahaha :)

message 17: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments its soo good though!

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

omg even the cover looks scary. I read the blurb, what's a thief.... nah the thing Lev is. What's that?

message 19: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments a tithe... (its a sacrifice, like every 10% of something... i'm not really big on religion but i'm pretty sure it has to do with jewish customs) anyways, Lev is a tithe, so he has to sacrifice himself to be unwound.

message 20: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments it alternates POV's and ususally i hate that. but the author did such a good job

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh okay...

message 22: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments hahah em your totally creeped out aren't you?

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

Ya. Like, it sounds too shuckin' scary to me

message 24: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments hahah its not that bad, its just soo great

message 25: by Zeterniouss (new)

Zeterniouss (ofchocolateandvanilla) | 35 comments Mod
I want to read it! Sounds so gory and amazing ;D

message 26: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments surprisingly not the most gory book i've ever read... but yes, super intense, you'd like.

The Enemy is a pretty gory book, there's a shit load of fighting in that book... love love love!

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

I rad this book called Inside Out, the second book Outside In, don't know if you've heard of it? It's a dystopian thing.... but I hated it, full on. Like, I just hated it, it was so BORING. I didn't even finish the second book I just couldn't bare to read it any longer. But I think you guys might like it, since we're all into that stuff.

message 28: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments i have that book on my phone... haven't read it yet, becuase i heard the same thing about it being boring

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

Idk, I mean, I hated it, and then there's my best friend who loved it as much as HG, so yeah... don't let my opinion put you off.

message 30: by Zeterniouss (new)

Zeterniouss (ofchocolateandvanilla) | 35 comments Mod
Have y'all ever read the Warrior Heir? I enjoyed that book: easy goin, simple almost, fighting and description of wounds(but not enough to be considered gory)

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Nope... what about Legend by Marie Lu?

message 32: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments its whatever, i'm not dying to read the book, but eventually i'll get there

message 33: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments yep... i've heard of legend... did you read it? i did...

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

I read just over half... never picked it up again. It was just as bad as Inside Out to me. SO. DAMN. BORING. I didn't get attached to the characters, everything was rushed and I didn't like the way it was written. But don't listen to me if u wonna read it

message 35: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments yes, yes and yes... i hated that bookk, there's no way in hell i'm reading the second one. and why the fuck was the writing in gold? i could barely read the book! ugh so dumb

message 36: by Zeterniouss (new)

Zeterniouss (ofchocolateandvanilla) | 35 comments Mod
I hav Legend on me to read list.

I like the sequel to Warrior Heir, Wizard Heir, too, Seph(pretty sure that's his name) is awsum.

message 37: by [deleted user] (new)

Vee what do you mean the writing was in gold?

message 38: by Zeterniouss (new)

Zeterniouss (ofchocolateandvanilla) | 35 comments Mod
For Day, wasn't the font in gold?

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Not for me. It was in black... normal colour for the writing?

message 40: by Zeterniouss (new)

Zeterniouss (ofchocolateandvanilla) | 35 comments Mod
Maybe just hardcover is gold for Day

If thou reply, expect a 9-10.5 hours

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

Ugh.... What?

I got the paperback cover, where it's all dark and fire and June is on the front of it. I hated June. She was a bitch.

message 42: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments No for Junes POV it was written in like this yellow/ gold font. Also the front of my book was silver with a gold symbol, an ya it Was hardcover

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

That's probably why... how weird :/
I wonder why they did that

message 44: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments I think it was just to clear up who's POV it was... But still! It's was weird

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

But its says June and Day when they're talking.... In my book they had two different fonts for the both of them.

message 46: by Vee (new)

Vee Gretzinger (Veniece) | 45 comments Hmmmm mine just had color change, the font change would be intersecting though

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

Day's was like bold and a little bigger and June's was kinda like MR but not as nice.
