Watchers question

None of the movies based on DK's books are ever any good, as Wally said, low budget.

I was really looking forward to watching the movie, "Watchers" that said that it was based on the book. Nothing like it. Hated it.

Holy crap does the movie version of that book suck. Please do yourself a favor and NOT watch it.

I recently watched the movie and have to agree with the other posts. I'd stick with the book. You really have to search for the same storyline. I've read the book twice but won't watch the movie again ever!

There were 4 Watchers movies. All of them bad. Watchers, Watchers II, Watchers 3 & Watchers Reborn. I think that Intensity was the best movie I've seen based on a Koontz book.

If you want to waste and hour and a half and then wish you could have it back, watch this film.

guess intensity may be ok but I only saw the end on TV by chance...never could find it programmed again (well I did recognise the book so I guess it wasn't that bad lol) but watchers....definitively no

This is one of my favorite fiction books. However, the movie was unspeakably bad. While I've never watched a movie that lived up to the book, this one ruined the book. If I watched the movie first I would not have read the book.

I promise, you will regret watching the movie... it's that bad.

Intensity and Sole Survivor were both reasonably ok. The others particularly the Watchers abomination wrer terrible

It's amazing how bad a movie can be when the book was outstanding! This is a perfect example of that. This is my favorite Dean Koontz book and the reason I started liking his books. The movie didn't even come close to following what the book was about. At least I think it didn't! I honestly can't say I remember much about the movie because it was so bad I wanted to forget about it before I was finished watching it. Don't watch that movie! Do read the book!

Intensity is the only movie based on Koontz' books that is worth watching. The others... don't waste your time on it!
