This Dark Endeavor discussion

Just heard on Kenneth Oppel's Facebook page that there's for sure going to be a film made out of This Dark Endeavour. How does everyone feel about that? I loved the book, but I must admit I'm kind of worried about how it'll turn out. I'm crossing my fingers they won't make it into some kind of horrible teen romance thing.

What I'd like to see is a stylishly dark kind of thing that keeps Oppel's cheek and occasional gruesomeness intact. What I don't want is a Frankenstein version of Twilight.

Sorry if I sound too cynical. Nature made me that way.
