Here's my suggestion : Described by Goodreads blogger - 'a book that can mess with your head.' https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Looking for a Psychological Thriller for that easy beach read? Or want to review a book everyone seems to love? ( So far )

Also on Netgalley

So... we can pick too, right? This one has been on my reading list for far too long. I choose you Pikachu... err... I mean Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams
I'm just glad I'm not the one rolling that dice. I'd probably crit fail it.

I know what this book club needs - a wrestling autobiography.I choose Hitman: My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling by Bret Hart.
I've actually read a wrestling autobiography before - Jesse Ventura's "I Ain't Got Time to Bleed"
It was good.
It was good.
I think Maplecroft would be a very interesting book for this book club. Lovecraft meets Lizzie Borden.

That looks interesting...

! Love Cherie Priest. I listened to the audiobook of Boneshaker narrated by Wil Wheaton and Kate Reading and nearly crashed my car. Recommended.

I only go on adventures if they are sold to me by a bearded old man with a pointy hat who deals with fireworks.

If you're going to suggest a sequel to a dinosaur-themed book we've previously read, then I'd prefer that one.
I second Cherie Priest, I enjoyed her Four And Twenty Blackbirds.
I'm suggesting some classic cheesy fantasy, with a serious side of fromage. Raymond E Feist's The Magician.

I second Donovan's Dirk Gently suggestion a) because it's a good book, b) because I haven't read it for ages, and c) I actually own a copy :-)
My serious suggestion is A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore. I've really wanted to give another of his books a go since reading The Stupidest Angel.
The Expanse Book 1: Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey (top notch space opera)The Blue Blazes by Chuck Wendig (hard-edged super natural)
Blackbirds also by Chuck Wendig (hard-edged super natural)
I've been thinking a lot about which book I want to suggest and have decided on an author I believe deserving of a second shot:
Old Man's War by John Scalzi.
Old Man's War by John Scalzi.

I'd love it if we read Leviathan Wakes, I was really enjoying it but never got round to finishing.

Dead to me.

If you're going to read a wrestling (auto)biography it has to be Mick Foley's Have a Nice Day!

But rather than using a poll like last year, we're going with a different method this time around - a suggestion box!
Simply use this thread to add the book(s) of your choice to the list. We'll assign each one a number and, based on the amount of suggestions, roll the appropriate die at the end of our Jurassic Park hangout to determine the winner!
There are absolutely no restrictions to the kind of book(s) you can suggest. A personal favorite, perhaps? How about a classic we've yet to cover? Another paranormal romance? It's all fair game this July.
Let's hear those suggestions!
Good luck!
