This is generally a relaxed discussion group, but to make sure it's fun and comfortable environment for everybody and that things are clear we have created a detailed rule list. Please take the time to read and understand them, so that everyone can have the best possible experience in Webcomic Wonderland.

Posting:
DO
• Be respectful of others and their opinions
• Use spoiler tags to hide your spoilers, unless told you can do otherwise
• Indicate Not Safe For Work webcomics with a (NSFW) tag. More info on NSFW below
• Create as many topics as you like. Place them in the proper folders or leave them in the general folder to have a mod move it to the correct folder for you
• Post in old threads. We encourage ongoing discussion and sharing new thoughts. If you have something you want to say, say it.

DO NOT
• Swear. The only exceptions to this rule are direct quotes and titles. In this case, use the first letter of the word and use asterisks or symbols for the rest of the word.
• Use slurs of any kind: racial, sexual, etc.

Bookshelves and Catalog
DO
• Add webcomics to the bookshelves
• Add volume ones only
• Add webcomics that do not have Goodreads pages to our catalog. You can suggest a webcomic to be added to our catalog here
• Add the webcomic to the proper shelves if you can. If you are not sure, we will shelve it properly for you.

DO NOT
• Create a Goodreads page for a webcomic unless you are a Goodreads Librarian or have a good understanding of Goodreads’ definition of “books”

Nominating Webcomics for WotM
DO
• Nominate a webcomic that fits the given theme
• Nominate your own webcomic
• Nominate webcomics that are NSFW

DO NOT
• Nominate pornographic webcomics
• Nominate a past WotM
• Nominate a webcomic that costs money at any point to read

NSFW
• NSFW webcomics must have a (NSFW) tag
• Webcomics that contain graphic nudity are NSFW
• Webcomics that contain graphic sexual content are NSFW
• Webcomics that contain graphic violence are NSFW
• NSFW is a hard thing to judge. Use PG-13 as your basis of judgment. Anything that would be considered above PG-13 is NSFW. If you are unsure, feel free to ask a mod.

Promoting
DO
• Use the Promotions folder to promote anything and everything, including, but not limited to: webcomics you work on, books you’ve written, webcomic related events, groups you moderate, etc.

DO NOT
• Promote outside of the Promotions folder unless it is pertinent to the topic. Ask a mod if you are unsure.

Other rules
DO NOT
• Copy and paste anything from this group without giving credit. That is plagiarizing!

Repercussions
• Any infractions of the rules will result in a warning with a copy of the offending comment or description of your infraction. Three warnings and you will be considered for banning from the group.
