Now conducting guest author interviews
Hi Scott, that sounds awesome but are you limited to certain genres? I have an adult sexual content book. It is about porn addiction but not porn.
Fine with me. This is more about the author than any one book you might have written, so if you're interested please let me know.I guess another way of saying that is I'm open as far as genre goes. :-)
Hey Scott,That sounds like a great idea. I am interested in taking part if you would send me the questions.
Hi Scott,That is a very generous offer, and I would be honored to participate. If you send me the questions, etc., I'll respond as soon as I can. Thanks for the offer!
First interview is up! This debut for my site goes to author Andi O'Connor.http://www.scottmarlowe.com/post/Auth...
Very well done, Scott! Andie O'Connor's interview should spark some discussion. Your website is great.
Hi Scott! I'd love to participate if you are still seeking new authors. My novel, Leave of Absence, will be available on April 1. Would it be at all possible to have an interview on your blog after that date? It is kind of you to do this, and of course I will participate at your convenience -- I just thought I'd ask about timing.
Oops. I posted too quickly. I also intended to mention that my genre isn't fantasy -- if you are only featuring authors of fantasy, I come rely understand.
Hi Scott, I would be honored to participate in your Wednesday interview on your blog. I saw that you said you had enough to keep you going for three months, and I have no problem with being at the end of that long list! :) (I'm releasing the second book in my fantasy series sometime in June, so later is actually better for me - gives me time to think about my answers, too!)
Hi Tanya,The next date I've got is Apr 24, but that may go soon. I have a handful of ppl who have the questions but haven't gotten them back to me. I'm scheduling based on when I get the questions back.
I'll go ahead and send you the questions and we can go from there.
Any genre is fine with me!
Hi Jenelle,Great! I'll send the questions over pronto. If you want, I can schedule yours a bit later to coincide with the book's release.
Just let me know.
Hello! I'm glad that this will work! April 24 would be perfect; however, if it does fill up, a later date will work too. My e-mail is tanyajoypeterson@gmail.com. I'll watch for your questions! Thanks!
Hi ScottI'm interested in appearing in your blog. I love answering questions about myself/my book so feel free to send them to me! I know you've said it isn't reciprocal but I'm happy to give you a mention on Twitter/Facebook/my website. It all helps to spread the word about each other. Best of Luck.

I'd love to participate. My book isn't due out for a week or two (as soon as I finish proofreading), but it sounds like there is a bit of a waiting list anyway.
Steven & G.G.--questions on their way.I am out a couple of months at this point and the list keeps growing. Maybe I'll start a second blog just for interviews. :-)
Scott, if you start that second round, let me know. I'll probably have another novel or two out by then, and haven't really begun to discuss them yet.
Ditto for the second round! I interview well too.
I'll go ahead and send you the questions and you can decide from there. The next available date I have open is May 29.
I'd be happy to do an interview, too. Thanks for the opportunity. Look forward to receiving your questions.
Hi, Scott. I'd be happy to do an interview. And I don't mind waiting. Whenever you have an opening.Cheers!

Joseph & Martin,Welcome to the party. I'll send them over now.
I'm into June now on scheduling, just so you know.

Not a problem. I may even have news of when my next book will be out by then.

I would most definitely be interested, even if its months out. I already have my ebook out at most retailers, my paperback will be out by then through the evil Amazon at that point.Working on my second book.

Special feature interview today with Michael Brooks in support of his Conversations in the Abyss blog tour.http://www.scottmarlowe.com/post/Auth...
Yeah, I wanted to open it to all genres/types of writers in order to get that variety. It is interesting seeing the varied backgrounds.
Hi, Scott. I'm getting ready to release a new story. Since I'm still doing the final rewrites, I'd actually appreciate being scheduled as late as June. If you're interested, you can contact me at SeptemberGray@yahoo.com. Thanks
You're quite the popular guy! Hopefully, by the time you get around to have done an interview with me, I'll have completed my next book! ;) Anyway, I'd absolutely love to participate. I'm a relatively well-known blogger who published her first book at the end of 2012. It's a compilation of poetry called "Ophelia's Wayward Muse" (I don't know if you're up for hearing from poets; we're not the cool kids on the literary block.)
If you're interested, please do contact me at ladyguenevere@gmail.com, as I'm interested in seeing what we can work out. (and now I sound like I'm contacting strangers on Match.com.) *laughs*)
Cheers,
*~ Alayna
Hi Alayna,I'll send you over the questions. I'm OK with poetry. My blog/web site is sci-fi/fantasy, though, so it's up to you in terms of what you want to get out of it. I'm finding readers are a little less interested in "off-topic" subjects, so I may wind up narrowing this down to just sci-fi/fantasy-related authors. But, for now, it's open to all.
Scott
Hi Scot, I have done free interviews in the past that I havn't seen more sales from. I am looking for a bloger that blogs about books like the ones I've writen. http://www.jlmanning.net/Home.html I'm not saying that it would be a waist of time but check out my book. I read that you want to interview more about the author, most do, if you would like to see my past interviews, let me know.

I'm starting up a new Wednesday only thing on my blog where I feature a new author each week via an interview.
If you're interested, leave a post below or message me and I'll forward you the list of questions. I've been getting a good response so far via other boards but wanted to open this up to as many people as possible, so here I am.
No reciprocation required. :-) You're helping me out by keeping the content rolling on my site.
Thanks,
Scott
