Ava needed to get away from her problems. She had finished studying and needed a break from everything. So, she came to people watch through the large window. She would sit there and narrate people's lives- it was her source of amusement as she didn't have any close friends. She literally had her popcorn in hand and sat crossed in front of the window, oblivious of another soul in the room. Ava was great at zoning out and letting the world around her melt away.

Ava paused when she heard someone behind her. She turned herself around and looked up at them with her big blue eyes. "I-I'm sorry," she sputtered out. Her eyes grew wide as she scrambled to her feet. "No! No you're not doing anything wrong," she told them. "I'm sorry, I've been rude," she smiled sheepishly. "I'm Ava," she introduced herself, pulling her cardigan tighter around herself. It was always cold in the Clock Tower, which she liked. It made her feel alive. "I'm a Hufflepuff," she added, twisting one of her long curls with her fingers.

Ava smiled. "Well hello, Draciel. It's nice to meet you. I'm a sixth year too." Ava paused for a moment. "Do you want to people watch with me?" she asked nervously. "It takes my mind off of.. well, everything," she laughed sheepishly. "You see, I pretend to narrate people's lives," she explained. "Hence the popcorn. It's like watching a movie."

Ava grinned. "Yes, of course!" she responded, holding the popcorn bag out to them. "We sit," she said while sitting down, "And come up with the most ridiculous, humorous dialogue for each person we see," she explained.

Ava laughed. "It's no big deal if you can't do it." She watched for a moment and pointed. "You see those two? You just come up with some dialogue for their conversation," she explained. "Are you kidding me?" Ava began to narrate as the girl smacked the boy in the head. "Why am I mad? Because you broke my favorite branch on my favorite tree," she added as the girl gestured somewhere, which looked like she was pointed towards the tree. "That was my cat's favorite tree," the girl stomped. "I'm absolutely furious!" The girl stormed off with the boy rushing after her, trying to make amends. "See?" Ava turned to them. "Why don't you give it a try," she smiled.
