Kaitlyn | 678 comments The Room of Requirement is a secret room in Hogwarts that only appears when a person is in great need of it. The room then transforms itself into whatever the witch or wizard needs it to be at that moment. It is believed that the room is Unplottable, as it does not appear on the Marauder's Map, nor do its occupants.

Ashton Potter | 108 comments Lily was wandering mindlessly on the seventh floor. She had heard about the Room of Requirement a long time ago. Lily stopped in front of the Barnabas the Barmy and turned around. Two doors appeared so suddenly it scared her a bit. Curiosity took over the Potter girl and she opened the doors.

Kaitlyn | 678 comments Ruby was in the Room of Requirement when she heard the door slowly open. She quickly shoved a few of her belongings in her bag, then hid behind a large tapestry. She had spent all her years at Hogwarts avoiding getting caught and she wanted to keep it that way. Very few people knew that Ruby wasn't just a sweet, innocent little girl. She was strategic and a huge prankster. And she never got caught. Ruby had known who it was- her sister. She had seen Lily approach on the Map.

Ashton Potter | 108 comments Lily walked in curiously. The room was definitely different than her dad described it. Lily was confused by the single quill on the ground.
"Not what I needed but good thinking Hogwarts" Lily murmured not giving the quill a second thought as she stepped over it. This was amazing and breathtakingly extraordinary.
A thought came to her as her favorite show did to. Thinking hard about a police box, it appeared. "Amazing" she breathed stepping towards it.

Kaitlyn | 678 comments Ruby covered her mouth with her hand to suppress a laugh. 'Has Lily seriously never been here?' she wondered. She was genuinely surprised that her twin never came looking for the mysterious and intriguing room their parents occasionally mentioned. There was a small hole in the Tapestry that Ruby could peer through. 'Oh my gosh the Tardis!' she thought, mentally freaking out. Ruby was a major Doctor Who fangirl.

Ashton Potter | 108 comments Lily squealed in excitement. She absolutely loved Doctor Who. I wonder....
Thinking hard again The Tardis made the whooshing sound and Lily thought she may faint.
"This iS AMAZING!" She screamed opening the door to the blue box and shut herself in.
This is definitely not bigger on the inside.

Kaitlyn | 678 comments Ruby giggled and accidentally hit her head against the wall when Lily screamed. 'Gosh could you be any louder?' she thought, a bit irritated. Ruby saw her sister enter the police box, and saw it as an opportunity to leave. Ruby darted across the room, heading for the door. She started to turn the door handle to leave.

Ashton Potter | 108 comments Lily swung the doors open in time to see her twin go to leave.
Lily stood and crossed her arms leaning against the doorway.
So that's whose quill it was.
"Going somewhere Rubs?" She called out amusingly loud.
"You know, tapestries don't have feet"

Kaitlyn | 678 comments Ruby winced when she heard Lily's voice. She turned around with a fake smile on her face. "Oh I was just doing homework when you came in. Wanted a quiet space," she lied. With Ruby, it was normally hard to tell whether she was telling the truth or not. Ruby wasn't a liar, she just didn't like people butting into her business. But with all the pranks she has pulled over the years, she's grown to be a very convincing liar.

"I know tapestries don't have feet," she said, rolling her eyes. "I just had hoped you weren't the sharpest knife in the drawer today, she muttered inaudibly under her breath.

message 10: by Ashton (new)

Ashton Potter | 108 comments "Oh I didn't see your feet, I was just seeing how long it would take for you to move. I heard you giggle." Lily said sitting back into the Tardis.
"Carry on" Lily finished closing the doors again.
"AND DONT FORGET YOUR QUILL!" She shouted before laughing to herself.
That was fun.
---- HEY I COULD USE THIS ROOM MORE!

message 11: by Kaitlyn (new)

Kaitlyn | 678 comments Ruby rolled her eyes. "I kinda can't when you're here being loud," she told her sister. Ruby often wondered how they could be sisters. They were total opposites! She grabbed her quill. "Well, you shouldn't. You don't want to be a nuisance. And you'd just get in the way," Ruby muttered under her breath. This room was one of the only rooms she could use undisturbed, and she wished to keep it that way.

Ashton Potter | 108 comments Lily rolled her eyes and took her wand out. Casting a silencing charm around the small box she took piece of paper out and began folding it. A thought occurred to Lily. "Why was Ruby in here for homework? I thought she did it in the Library.. Oh well. That's her business." Lily messed up and tore the parchment in half.
Lily felt the familiar itch to prank. But she couldn't, not in this box. Lily jumped up and ran to the door. Swinging it open she ran to the Library.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Lorcan looked around the Room of Requirements. It was blank at the moment, since he was feeling bored and rather uninspired. He was, however, waiting for Ruby, his godsister. She would decide what they 'needed'; she always did. He turned around as soon as he saw her. "Ruby!," he called enthusiastically, waiting for the room to change in her presence.

Kaitlyn | 678 comments ((I'm so sorry! I totally forgot about this. :( ))

Ruby, who looked horrible, just walked into the Room of Requirement. She had also forgotten that she was meeting Lorcan. The room, as she entered, started to shift into a dark and gloomy state. "Oh hello Lorcan," she attempted to smile. "What are you doing here?" she asked, scratching the back of her neck. She hadn't remembered that they had plans to meet there.
