The Not a Book Club Club discussion

No spoilers etc...you know the drill!

These haven't been my favorite chapters. I like Jalan a lot more when he is with Snorri and the others. There are some humorous moments, but his time alone at the palace and in the city feels long. I am ready to get past his "I am a prince" phase and back to some adventure,

I liked this section - not a lot of action but the whole banking heist was interesting and gave me a bit of a Gentleman Bastards vibe.

I was doing it in audio but I still remember a few quotes of the funnier quotes:

"fashion never goes out of style"

and

"always kick a man when he's down, I say...That's the best chance you'll get"

There were other better ones but those two stuck with me for some reason.

There are SO many good quotes - that's the only thing I regret about the audio version. But it sure keeps me laughing. I got a Gentleman Basards vibe too.
