I finished
and I remembered why I like this series so much. The beginning was a little slow for me this time but I believe it is from being a re-read. The ending, or close to it, where she decides to take her life in her own hands and do the unexpected, that is where I started loving the series.

I am enjoying this series as well. At first, Emma got on my nerves so bad, but by the end, I could tolerate her. I have purchased audiobook 3 No Rest for the Wicked and should start that this weekend!
OK, I'm really enjoying my re-reads this month. I finished
and
. I think this series stays so good because the characters and stories are so different.
So to get through this by release date, we should read 2 per month and fit in Untouchable and Shadow's Claim. Untouchable is part of the Wroth brothers, so I am putting it in after Dark Needs at Night's Edge in the schedule, which is the 3rd Wroth broth. I read it to make sure there were no spoilers or missing information. In timeline it works well and will be grouped with shorter books. Though really read what you are on and tell us about it.
So...
June
A Hunger Like No Other
No Rest for the Wicked
July
Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night
Dark Needs at Night's Edge
"Untouchable" in Deep Kiss Of Winter
August
Dark Desires After Dusk
Kiss of a Demon King
September
Pleasure of a Dark Prince
Demon from the Dark
October
Dreams of a Dark Warrior
Lothaire
(Shadow's Claim)
November
MacRieve
Dark Skye

The books get longer as the series goes along, so reading the first ones is quicker. I don't know how well it'll go once we get closer in. I'll probably jump around but post in the correct month.
You definitely can get it done. They are such quick reads. I love the humor.

I read up to Dark Desires After Dusk, so need Kiss of a Demon King for this month. Both of August's are not my favorite. I don't know if it is that they are the rage demons stories and I just didn't relate as well. Still finished Cade's book "Dark Desires After Dark" and thought it was pretty good even on the re-read. Just not as fun as Sabastian or Bowen's books. I'll read "Kiss of a Demon King" and see if I still feel the same about it.

Cade's book definitely had some funny moments. When Nix comes, you are wondering "WTH?" and she then lets them go,... I love her. I didn't dislike at all, it was just not a turn pager from the beginning to end for me like the others. I remember when I first read this series, I stopped reading it for a year after Cade's book. I had things like Psy-changelings and Mercy Thompson that took over my time. Coming back to this one was a boon, as it has a lot more humor.
I actually have read a bunch and then stopped. Since the next comes out the first of December, I'll start back up. I re-read all the first ones up to Cade's book, Dark Desires After Dark.
@Kissie - Yes, I did like it in its own way and it definitely has some great humor.
So, I actually skip over to Demon from the Dark, and then to MacRieve. So I have 4 to read before the release, Pleasure of a Dark Prince, Dreams of a Dark Warrior, Lothaire, Shadow's Claim, and Dark Skye. Definitely Dark Skye and Lothaire before the release as I want to refresh the storyline. Anyone else going to join in with these months?
