I'm also in the plan to read it at some point camp. I've been very distracted with Marvel Unlimited.
so anyone reading this yet? im enjoying it but i have to say i think wesley chu doesnt write interesting male characters. I think Tao was the only interesting male character in his prev books, maybe Cameron too.
I'm reading it right now. It's alright. I just don't like any of the characters save 1.
I don't agree about his male characters in general though. I liked the ones in Tao. It's just this book where they are all awful. But I think that's by design.

Somehow this novel reminds me of Elantris but just not as good. I like the concept of time travel in this book but I can't help but feel that it isn't implemented very well. I mean Elise is pretty much the best character here. And in Tao, I didn't really like Roen, he was practically the only male character other than Cameron with any significant screen time. I think my fav male in Tao was Edward but that lasted like 10 pages.
Elise is the one I meant, I'm just terrible with names and forgot it.
I like Roen a lot. Mostly. There are times when he's an idiot though.

What do you guys think of the time travel in the book?I feel the mechanic was interesting but not used to its full potential, in fact I think it was somehow criminally underused.

I do plan to read it at some point though. July is kind of a busy month book wise though. I have at least 3 books I plan to read already, though 2 of them will likely be audio, so maybe I'll do this in text.
