For those songs that seem to describe your characters or your stories. Post a link to the song, post the lyrics, or both!

I'm going to be a pioneer. I like this topic.
So, I'm putting off writing, so I decided to pick themesongs for all my characters so BOOM let's go.
Charlotte Olivier
Florence + the Machine - The Dog Days Are Over
Tiffany Harrison
Matt & Kim - Cameras
Madeline Olivier
Brand New - Jude Law and a Semester Abroad (not a perf fit)
Theodore Lawrence
Peter Bjorn and John - Young Folks
Fun. - At Least I'm Not As Sad
Pippa Albright
Sigur Ros - Illgresi
Sara Klaus
Vanessa Carlton - Heroes and Thieves
Jack Albright
Stars - Midnight Coward
Jonah Crawley
Motion City Soundtrack - The Future Freaks Me Out
I'm sure you all care SO MUCH.

Ooh, your characters personalities have good taste in music.
That made no sense. You get what I mean.

It's basically my limited taste in music. I listen to like the same people over and over and over again for like the past three years. Hahaaaaa
I don't have theme songs for all of my characters yet, but right now Bethany Allison's song is Diane, The Skyscraper by Jack's Mannequin.
Mainly because of one line and the whole skyscraper thing, but yeah.
And the late night T.V. talks to me about God but God why can't I sleep?

Zippo from Star Wars: How to be a Bounty HunterBlack Heroes by Ratatat is Zippo's "theme" song because of the many adventures he has had and I think this song really sums it up quite nicely (not to mention Ratatat is what I listen to while writing most of the time).

My writing partner and secretary has written stories about the two of us, and I made a playlist that inadequately expresses what my character thinks of her character.Fate Has Smiled Upon Us -- Robin Hood OST
Whole Wide World -- Mindy Gledhill
Concerning Hobbits -- LOTR: FotR OST
Zoosters Breakout -- Madagascar OST
All That You Are -- The Goo Goo Dolls
Expression -- Helen Jane Long
And the World Turned -- Gabe Dixon Band
What Makes You Beautiful -- One Direction
Tennessee -- Pearl Harbor OST
Perfect -- Hedley
Out of My League -- Stephen Speaks
Untitled -- Simple Plan
I'm doing the "couples" theme songs;)Isaac+Crystal: "Anchor" by Mindy Gledhill or "Stand" by Rascal Flatts.
Johnny+Kathrina: "You'll be in my heart" or "Look through my eyes" both by Phil Collins
Brandon+Nellie: "A thousand years" by Christina Perri
Ethan+Jackie: "I won't let go" by Rascal Flatts or "30 Lives (iTunes Session)" by Imagine Dragons.
Nate+Tina: "Wanted" by Hunter Hayes.
IDK. My still-unwritten dystopia book seems to be described perfectly with a hymn called "Jesus is Walking with Me". The book has religious themes, and the song talks about challenges and stuff (see my way with words? haha).
I do like the "Barbie Girl" song by: Aqua. But only the chorus and the music part. For my girls.
For my boys. "Call Me Maybe." by that girl with a hard name.
