I'm not too far into the book yet, but I'm intrigued by the characters. On the other hand though, I feel like the book launched into action just a little too quickly. If the beginning had slowed down, added just a couple scenes, the emotional impact of one of the early events would have been greater and there could have been some foreshadowing for some things that in there present form feel a bit deus ex machina to me. Anybody else have thoughts about the first few chapters?

I am hoping to start it this week...Is it starting to get better for you Connie?

I really enjoyed this novel. I got sucked in by the rapid action in the beginning and couldn't put it down. The ending was rushed. It needs a sequel now!
