I mean Marcus has a special place in my heart. There were so many times when I bust out laughing at something he said. But come on, no contest. Samm is too thoughtful and believes in Kira.

So I guess I need to read these books.

You should Brandy, they're really good.

OMG, Brandy, start reading now. They're really well written, the characters are three dimensional, there are a lot of themes about slavery, morality, the needs of the many versus the needs of the few. It's probably my favorite series out of all I've read from YA (and I've read probably........everything.) :)

I own book 1, I just keep running out of time. I will set a goal to read it by end of summer.

Just a warning the first book is very dark. The opening is pretty horrific. Sara can back me up here. But the world is so complex. Author Dan Wells promotes most his I Am Not A Serial Killer series. And that one was okay. But Partials is legit. And the trilogy ends the way Divergent should have.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Dan's I Am Not A Serial Killer book was super weird.. but in a this is kinda good/kinda bad way. But Partials was great.

Dark doesn't bother me as much as these pedophile vampires and angels that are ancient and falling for the teenage girl.

I haven't read, I am not a Serial killer, either. I took a few years off reading, I fell into a slump and couldn't find anything to pull me out. Now I am so far behind in all books, and more that I want to read just keep coming out!!! I finally pulled myself out of the slump 2 years ago but I can't catch up! I need to read about 700 books to be where I want to be lol

Well Partials is worth it! I keep thinking that and The Testing. Sara, when are we doing Tomas Vrs Will?
