Diamond Quinn Beauregard
[ Nicknames ]
Di – she goes exclusively by this, as she has always said: “A diamond is perfect and shiny, I am neither of those things.”
*her mother used to call her Quinn, so that is something to be avoided at all costs
[ Gender ]
Female
[ Age ]
Seventeen
[ Occupation ]
Vocal Performance & Political Science (at the
[ Grade ]
Junior
[ Years of Attendance ]
Three
[ Appearance ]

[ Face Claim ] Taissa Farmiga
[ Eyes ]
Exclusively light brown – when boys are trying to get with her, she has heard them described as “liquid gold” which always makes her laugh
[ Hair ]
She has the famous dirty blonde hair that the Beauregard’s have had for generations, it isn’t ridiculously long but she keeps it at a good length to add to her beauty. She had short hair once upon a time and she’ll never go back.
[ Body Type ]
Di is small and that’s how it’s always been. She stands at about 5’4” (though she’ll try and argue about being at least 5’6”) and is very willowy. She supposes this would be more attractive had she been tall like everyone else in the damn family, now it just makes her very pixie-like and she hates that comparison.
[ Distinct Markings ]
Okay, so maybe one time she got into a club and maybe that same time she got into a bar fight with a girl talking about wanting to sleep with her older brother (she’s a tad overprotective of him). She has a nice scar through her left eyebrow that she thinks makes her look more of a hard ass and her father hates it.
[ Personality ]
Di is aggressive, that’s the easiest word to use for her. She has the personality of an army of men, all itching for a fight. Being aggressive is not a recent development for her either, even when life was considered simpler, she had always been fiery. This fire in her belly is easy displayed to those around her. The images created by the Beauregard line has not been something she chose to follow. She is fiercely loyal to her brother, this loyalty would probably extend to others in her life if she felt they were as deserving as Max. This loyalty is often read as overprotectiveness from an outside observer, which she won’t deny, but she is completely pure in her intentions when he is involved.
She is not particularly sexual in nature (despite her lyrics saying otherwise), but part of her rebellious phase has involved sex. Di considers herself to be a good actress because 9 times out of 10 she can get what she wants from boys just by batting her eyelashes and showing a little skin. She’s a major flirt, but it is completely noncommittal, she hasn’t met a boy who she believes could actually handle her fire. She jokes about this side coming from her mother whenever her father or Max question her choices.
When Di is performing she transforms, her tough exterior melts away and she becomes an almost alter ego. She is ethereal and charming, whether this is stage presence or truly a calming factor on her is unknown to her audience. Music is her escape and gives her the most happiness in this world. She almost cracks for people when they get her talking about music, she loses herself in it before realizing that the walls she has worked so hard to build up are coming down and she will stop immediately.
Di is a free spirit, just another reason why her father can’t hold her down. She never originally planned on acting out so much. The drugs, alcohol, and parties were to shame her own name and keep her as far from politics as she could. The party girl in her is wild for sure. She is full of life and loves being the center of attention at parties. She realizes often how odd it must be for people who have seen her in both of her walks of life. Without revealing too much, Di is a perfect party goer, minus getting in fights with girls who ogle her brother too long or ask about her mother.
[ Biggest Strength & Fatal Flaw ]
Her biggest strength is definitely the fact that she is resilient. This may come across as being stubborn and opinionated, but these things make up the person that she is. Di believes that the best people in the world are the ones with a voice who are not afraid to use it for the best reasons.
Her fatal flaw is that she has a lot of walls built up around her. Di doesn’t like to share personal stories, nor does she like letting people into her heart. A lot of this comes from the betrayal she feels from her mother.
[ History ]
The Beauregard’s have been a part of New York society for as long as anyone can remember. They were the members of the high class, the tycoons, and the money. Politics have been a huge aspect of their family life as well. It was exclusive to the men of the family up until recently, the women of the family were raised to be good housewives, with full hearts and quiet mouths. Can you imagine their surprise when Diamond came along? She has always been particularly rough around the edges, but even more so after the scandal her mother committed. Her brother used to tell her that as a child her first word was “shit” and that has carried on into her teenage years.
Diamond was supposed to be a darling politician, the first of her bloodline to do so, she was supposed to be a crown jewel alongside her brother. She had different plans when she realized her love of singing. This garnered a lot of disrespect from the men in her family besides her older brother. She used to go to lessons in secret to develop her talent, until her mother found out. Dominique was beyond supportive and funded her lessons from then on out.
The scandal is one that no one likes to mention, it is a dark stain on the family name. Even worse that Diamond’s partying. Maxwell walked in on his mother having sex with their family friend James, from that moment the lives of the Beauregard children changed. Their father became more cynical and angered at the littlest things. This led Di to act out even further, she had limited her fun to appear in a few newspapers here and there, but she snapped and took it to every extreme that she could. She wanted her father to know that she didn’t have a hold on her and she wanted her mother to know that this was all her fault. That the image of her daughter dancing on men she hardly knew and doing lines of cocaine in the bathroom were all to spite her terrible parents.
[ Family ]
* Pierce Evan Beauregard {father – senator of New York} (view spoiler)
* Dominique Axton (formerly Beauregard) {mother – unemployed} (view spoiler)
* Maxwell Easton Beauregard {older brother} (view spoiler)
[ Biggest Fear ]
Besides all the stereotypical stuff like death and losing loved ones (read: Max), she has a huge fear of heights. The height itself doesn’t bother her though, it is the chance of falling from that height. Even if she is secured in place, the height can still send her heart into a frenzy.
[ MEM ]
It takes a lot to embarrass Di, she’s shown and done a lot these last couple of years. Though the moment she chalks up to the single most awful time of her high school career has to be when she got so nervous on a date when he decided to take her skydiving. She threw up in the plane and had to stay on board until they landed. She never spoke to him again.
[ Other ]
As much as she hates her mother for what she did, she always wears the engagement ring her father gave Dominique. Di was given it at a young age as sort of a purity ring and while she is definitely no longer pure, she can’t seem to get rid of the ring.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Kat is on fire. With ideas, with possibilities, with dreams and hopes which will one day emerge into reality. She douses herself with creativity, lights herself with the energy of those around her, and unveils a show overflowing with enthusiasm and effervescence. Some people are born to perform. And Kat is one such person.
It's a constant battle between chaotic creativity and perfectionistic planning. The girl who loves to act, to let loose onstage is the most high-strung offstage, each minute, technical detail under critical surveillance as she strives for what she calls professionalism, her teachers call perfection, and her classmates call impossibility. It's not that Kat is a perfectionist by nature. Far from it, in fact. When you have the attention span of a curious kitten and enough creative content to fuel an entire season of Broadway, you don't make it a habit to focus on small things. But arts such as acting and singing revolve around control, something Kat can't get enough of. She likes knowing that she's the one in authority, the commander of her character, her voice, her scene. Her need for control is a double-edged sword, one that she still is not equipped to wield, as much as she tries.
She is wild and passionate and fun-loving, sixteen and filled with youth, hungry for freedom and fame. Love is a Shakespearian plot-tool, desperation makes for great character development. She is still innocent, filled with big hopes and bigger ideas. This girl is going places, and she's not going to let anything stand in her way.

The daughter of a successful NPR science talk show host, Kat was born into an unorthodox upper-middle class Manhattan lifestyle which involved philosophical arguments and pages upon pages on odd tidbits involving experiments with monkeys and neurological mysteries. She learned how to count in binary before learning how to read, experimented on lab rats and goldfish rather than playing with dolls, and was taught that everything was theoretical, nothing was absolute. After all, Antonin Brzezicki would never stoop so low as to acquiesce to "normal" parenting techniques.
Her mother was a neurologist whose work anihiliated any chance for an ordinary mother-daughter relationship, but the precious few weekends they spent together, a Broadway show was always included on the agenda. Kat was captivated with the glamour and the pizzazz from the getgo, and soon she was relentlessly pestering her father about theater auditions, agents, camps, and lessons galore.
At some point, Antonin realised that this wasn't just a phase and so begrudgingly agreed, little by little, until Kat was something a local celebrity, playing just about every child role there was to offer at the local theaters, from Annie to Dorothy to Little Cosette. By the time Kat was finishing middle school, it was clear that theater had transformed from an innocuous extracirricular to the only thing Kat wanted to pursue in her future. Ridgeport caught her parents' eyes for their high standards as well as their excellent musical theater department, and once Kat saw the extensive theater props and the grand auditorium, she was sold.
Kat isn't planning on loitering during her stay. She has roles to play, rehearsals to attend, and connections to make. Every step is made with conviction, drawing her closer each day to the final destination: Broadway.▹ f a t h e r ────── antonin brzezicki ( NPR talk show host )──────────────────────────────────────────────

▹ g r e a t e s tf e a r ─── Other than cockroaches? Loss of control. Kat doesn't go along with the flow, she makes the flow go along with her, so taking away her personal freedom, independence, or life in any way is a no go. Perhaps this is why she tends to clash with authority figures.
▹ m o s te m b a r r a s s i n g
m o m e n t ─── Opening night of The Wizard of Oz, ten-year-old Kat was having some serious anxiety attacks seeing how this was her first big show as the lead role. Apparently, her nerves also happened to mess with her digestive system (especially the calzones she'd eaten for dinner) and in the middle of her Somewhere over the Rainbow solo, an explosive series of farts echoed throughout the theater. Moral of the story: calzones are fucking evil.

∞Name: Riley Joanne Maxwell
↳Nickname: Well...there is the dreaded one of *shudders* "Riles", but seriously? It's Riley. Ri-Lee.
∞Gender: Female
∞Age: 17 turning 18 in a couple months.
∞Occupation:Fucking Shit upDance.
∞Grade: Senior
∞Years of Attendance: Two.
∞Appearance:
(view spoiler)
∞Hair Color- Blonde like barbie. Blonde like the perfect image of the all-american girl. Seriously, just look at that pretty blonde hair that works in curls and being straight and just like flawless blonde hair to add to that innocence thing she has going on.
∞Eye Color- Big baby blue doe eyes because look how those long lashes coated in mascara make her look the epitome of innocence. And that button nose? And just, adorable in a sweet innocent little package.
∞Height- Literally like 5'3", screw your height that's what heels were made for. Wears heels like all the time, save for when she's dancing, other than that? Be jealous of how great she is at walking in heels because one day she'll be running from a T-Rex in heels in the dramatic action sequence and you'll trip over your laces. So suck it.
∞Body Type- Petite, but definitely enough curves to tell that she is very obviously a girl. When it comes to her own self image? "I don't need jealousy and schemes to make you jealous, just a mirror."
∞Distinctive Markings-
∞Faceclaim: Bailey De Young
∞Personality:
Monsters aren't born, they're made. And the same could probably be said about Riley...maybe. The only person who's known her long enough to testify against that statement in Camryn and let's face it...the boy is just a little too good hearted to probably do anything that would destroy his sister. And why on earth would he want to destroy his sister? His sweet older sister that took him to a swim meet his freshman year because she wanted to help him get over that fear of water? His sister who welcomed her step-mother with open arms? The very same sister that made sure all those hopeless assistants knew that Camryn liked the crust cut off his PB&J's?
She really is quite the sweet little thing. It's almost hard to believe that she would've thrown a boob cutlet at someone. Or that she's ever hooked up with someone before.
But that's the thing about appearances, they're deceptive. And with Riley? Well.....Ridgeport certainly knows this lesson. Riley's publicity might portray her as sweet as sugar? But this girl? Well... "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Cause it hurt me when I did." Although the more accurate saying would probably be "It hurt when I clawed my way through the crust of the earth to escape hell."
↳Biggest Strength:
↳ Riley is very good at acting. Acting the part of the perfect daughter. Telling Julie what a fantastic idea it would be for Nala to change her last name to Maxwell, and then throwing that 'Don't even think about sharing a last name with me' glare at Nala behind Julie's back. And all that fun stuff. In the eyes of the public? Riley is quite the adorable little bubbly blonde american.
↳Fatal Flaw:
↳ Lack of judgement. Sometimes Riley lets her emotions get the best of her and gets swept away in them. Sometimes she's just not a very good judge of character, but most of the time these lapses in judgement happen with boys. Because sometimes she just goes off to a closet with some guy, even if she has a boyfriendNot that they ever last long. Yeah. Don't trust Riley's judgement.
∞Family/History:
♚Josephine Isabella Maxwell: Deceased || Josephine had always been a supportive wife. She was the younger daughter of a regular middle class family, and spent most of her younger years rallying for historical preservation sites and really taking an interest in the community. All the while putting herself through school on scholarships. So she was Campaign gold, and when her and Andrew fell in love? It hadn't just been for the Campaign. So she'd been happy to support his dreams and ambitions for those years while she took care of Riley and Camryn. She was on her way to pick Riley (11) and Camryn (10) up from school when she spilled coffee on herself and took her eyes off the road for the moment that she ran through a stop sign. Boom. Life changed.
♛ Andrew Jefferson Maxwell III || Andrew wasn't an awful father to Riley during her childhood. He was just a busy father, busy with his campaign for US Senator and busy with his work. And after the death of his wife? Well work became the only thing that could get him out of bed in the morning. And nothing Riley did was ever worth his attention....so she gave up long ago. Then two years ago? Andrew decided moving to New York was a great way to increase public standing and a fresh start for the family. Yup. Great fresh start. What with the new wife and daughter.
♛ Camryn Joshua Maxwell || Well now, it wasn't like Camryn and Riley never got along, and most people probably don't know why Camryn puts up with Riley. But he's her little brother, and yeah she might mess with him all the time and roll her eyes when he's overly dramatic or play things up like he's the bad guy occasionally, but when it all boils down to things. Riley would spill blood for her brother. So it would be wise not to fuck him over too badly.
♚ JulieCollinsMaxwell || The newest addition to the family. Honestly? Riley thinks she's gaudy and tacky and all sorts of awful. She has to be to spawn something as dreadful as Nala, right? Besides. Julie? Came from the suburbs, and that's just fifty shades of eww. But Riley isn't above playing the sweet daughter, and playing up just how great she can be to Julie. Anything to get under her new sister's nerves. Seriously though, did they have to get married on a family vacation this past summer?
✘ Nala Fray Collins || Can she just say eww? For one thing, that whole fiasco with Jacob? And her whole rebellion with her mom? Suck it up and stop acting like a baby, Nala. Parents have disgusting horny urges too and just because Julie and Andrew are married and everyone has to share a penthouse doesn't mean you should keep doing your best to make every family event awkward. Like at least try to act happy. If you don't you'll damage Daddy's public ratings.
∞Biggest Fear:
Probably actually being rejected by someone. It's different when she's the bitch first, you can't be hurt if you're the bitch first. But if she ever opened herself up to someone and they ended up hurting her or leaving her in some way? she's not sure that she could handle that sort of loss, again. Also? She's not a big fan of people jumping out from hiding behind things in a mask and scaring her. Like stop being so immature.
∞MEM:
So for years, Riley did these...beauty pageants, because her mom wanted her to do them and then when her mom died she kept doing them because her dad always made an effort to come to them. It was like a way of being closer to her mom. Until that one day she sort of snapped, after about the millionth time some intern had come to support her rather than her dad. So when she was supposed to answer questions on what she wanted to be when she got older and how she'd change the world and all that? She called the pageantry out on it's bullshit and then threw her boob cutlets at the judges where she promptly hit one in the face.
And lucky for her? Someone from school happened to catch the whole thing on their phone. A video that she thought would stay in her past. Until she came to Ridgeport and SOS decided to roll out the welcome wagon with that video being uploaded to the site. What a great first impression huh?
Needless to say she spent the week after that wearing overly-large sunglasses like a celebrity hiding from the paparazzi.

Gender: Male
Age: Sixteen
Occupation: Drum core
Grade: Junior
Years of Attendance: Two years↳Appearance:

Hair Color- Ash blond that he's never quite known what to do with- which is why, more often than not, it's a mess. Much to his father's disgust.
Eye Color- Clear blue
Height- 5'9 and he's probably not growing anymore
Body Type- Um. . . How to put this lightly? Well, it will certainly never be a question as to whether he's on steroids. That's not to say he has no muscle, he's simply more so the lean type.
Distinctive Markings- His father would probably disown him if he did anything permanent to himself like get a tattoo or a piercing, and he's not a skilled enough liar to keep up an innocent front either. No, the only thing distinctive about Camryn is the break in his left eyebrow.
Faceclaim: Lucky Blue Smith
Personality: It's kind of ironic when it comes to Camryn's personality and how he's perceived vs his sister. You know how the world is convinced she's this sweet little sugar cane and she's actually occasionally a bit of a little heathen? Welp, to the public eye, Camryn is the brat in the Maxwell household. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he doesn't exactly like knowing eyes are on him, or the fact that he's an awkward turtle when it comes to social events. Whether way, he's sorta made a name for himself as the arrogant son, even though that's the last thing Camryn truly is. He tries to make a good impression, he really does, but it's clearly a gift how the press can twist things. His father prefers to keep him out of as much PR-related things as he can nowadays, because he may not tune in on much, but he knows enough to know his son isn't giving him the best image.
Now, in reality, Camryn's about as harmless as a fly. In fact, he's kind of a dork if his affinity for technology and the likes is any indication. And girls? Oh sweet baby Jesus, that is a black hole Cam hardly even attempts anymore. He turns into an awkward thirteen year old again and it just- it's not pleasant, not for the girl he's trying talk to or himself, for that matter. He's not like a majority of the guys at school, the ones who look at a girl with careful glances, practically calculating how fast they can get panties off. The boy is as innocent as they come to: sexual innuendos? VEEEEWWWW. That was the sound of it going straight over his head. You would think this might add up to at the very least some awkward charm, right? Wrong. At least, not in Camryn's case. It's fine though, really. Just give the boy a computer or some drum sticks and he's able to forget the rest of the world, at least for a little while anyways.↳Biggest Strength:
↳ Camryn is quite the levelheaded guy, a vast majority of the time. Very rarely will you ever see him anything but calm and collected, even going as far to have a small smile on his faceeven though he actually has very little to legitimately be happy about. I mean, he's had to sort of learn how to keep himself in check, with assistants running around and his sister up to. . . Whatever his sister is up to at the moment. All things considering, the boy is pretty emotionally stable. I mean, at least on the surface. I guess he's like one of those tinted-glass windows? Okay, so maybe he's not actually that healthy emotion-wise.↳Fatal Flaw:
↳ You know how they say keeping your not-so-happy emotions bottled up isn't the healthiest approach to life? Well, let me just tell you, there is more truth in that statement than anyone could probably ever know. Camryn here is a fine example of that concept: he has a lot of words that remain unsaid and he's sort of grown used to never being noticed for anything other than his family. Does that mean he's accepted it? Ha. Not quite. It's a hard pill to swallow. But anyways, yeah, he doesn't process anger and hurt quite the same way most people do, instead preferring to stick his head in the sand and pretend like nothing's wrong.
Family/History: So, let's just discuss this in facts: His father has been senator or at least a candidate for as long as Camryn can remember. When Camryn was ten, his mother died in a car accident on her way to pick him and his sister up. The relationship between Riley, said sister older than him by a year, and Camryn has slowly declined until there is since nothing left of it. His fear of water surfaced about that time. When he was twelve, Camryn ran away from home until one of his father's assistants found him a few hours later. Fast forward a few years -two years ago, to be exact- and his father started dating Julie Collins and he moved his family up to New York. Then, this past summer, his father and Julie got married and Nala, Julie's daughter, joined the family. Since than, the house has been feeling a little more claustrophobic, what with his new stepmother and stepsister -whom he swears will one day kill each other- and the hate building between Riley and Nala.
Biggest Fear: He has a major fear of water. As in, bad enough to accurately be described as a 'phobia.' Get him in water above his ankles and his heart picks up pace a bit and by the time it's at his waist, he's basically convinced he's going to die. The definition of a macho man, right?↳MEM:So this kind of ties in with that little fear of his, but during his first year at the school, his sister dragged him to a swim club meet. Camryn likes to think -when he's forced to actually reevaluate the day in his mind- it was his sister's way of trying to get him to confront his issue with water and get over it. And truthfully, he could have told her no, he probably should have, but it was the first time he could remember Riley seeming genuinely interested in any detail of his life. So he went. Big mistake. He fell in, as plenty of people saw and recorded, and proceeded to be convinced he was in an ocean somewhere about to be consumed by the never-ending waves. When no one saved him from drowning, it slowly dawned on him that the bottom of the pool wasn't a million miles away. After climbing out and proceeding to yell at his sister and make a scene, the entire school was convinced for a little while that he not only was an idiot, but he was also a jackass. Good times.

When most people think of comedians, they imagine outgoing people, who always are in the spotlight, no matter the context. They imagine someone utterly at ease in a crowd, with a loud voice followed by even louder laughter from the crowd.
What people don't imagine is Maureen, someone as uncomfortable in her own skin as she is around other people, covering it up with eye-rolls and tired sighs. Someone who uses comedy as an armor.
But don't take her unease as a sign that she's not good at what she does. Put a microphone in her hand and shove her up on stage, and after a few deep breaths, all the stress, anxiety, and insecurities get turned into jokes. Her sullen and uncomfortable personality morphs into something charmingly matter-of-fact, the closest to likable she ever really gets.
And Maureen loves those moments. She may do a half-way convincing job of making it seem like she doesn't really want to be around other people──it just takes a constant frown to convince people of that, and Maureen has certainly mastered that──but that's not true. Comedy gives her exactly what she wants: people listening to her. People laughing. People liking her.─── strength: Pretending. Some days she almost deludes herself into thinking she's
fine with how things are.
─── weakness: Everyone has insecurities they try to push into the dark, far-off
corners of their mind, but Maureen has enough insecurities that
they're spilling out of every corner of her mind.

Poor Maureen, born to a family of academic giants, but without a genius bone in her body. She tried though, she really did. She tried to follow in the footsteps of her multi-published author father and anthropology professor mother. But she was never anything more than average, and certainly didn't have a successful academic career ahead of her.
And maybe that was where her insecurities started. Her parents were nothing but loving, encouraging her to do whatever made her happy, even if she wasn't necessarily following in their footsteps. But it was hard not to feel a sense of failure, as though somehow she was destined by circumstances of birth to be intellectual and successful but she couldn't even manage it.
Despite all reason those feelings grew and grew until she was a sophomore and terrified at the prospect of having to pick at major because of the possibility that she might not be good at any of them. It was only by chance──or maybe fate, it's hard to tell sometimes──that she actually found comedy.─── father: Noah Schnare (historian + author)

It was sophomore year, and Maureen and her parents were attending the funeral of some family friend she only distantly knew. The funeral came to an end and it was time to give condolences to the family and say goodbye. Maureen barely knew the family, so she panicked when it came time for her to actually speak to them. Rather than say something like "I'm sorry for your loss," or simply saying goodbye, Maureen says "I had a great time, thanks for inviting me."
Sadly, several people from school had parents in the same social circles, and were at the funeral, so everyone quickly heard about the incident.

What is there to say about Vidya Malhotra? Actually, what does Vidya Malhotra have to say? Lots. This girls talks a mile a minute. There is no mute button. The best you can do is walk away and hope she doesn't follow, because Vidya Malhotra? She doesn't take no for an answer. She will do whatever she has to in order to get her way. She's also really expressive with her hands, so watch out your you might lose an eye. Vidya also lacks a filter. But most of her swears are in Hindi, so no one understands what she means anyway. Half the time, she's speaking the wrong language as sometimes she forgets that English is the way to go and not Hindi.
Vidya is an excellent cook as well and she loves cooking. In her dorm she has a mini electric stove a basically a mini kitchen cabinet in her closet. She hates American food and prefers to make her own food for herself that she eats instead. Sometimes she'll even be willing to share. That is if she doesn't eat everything first.
Other than that, she's just a standard Ridgeport dancer. Passionate about dance. She doesn't know as many dance styles as her classmates but she's always eager to learn and a fast learner. Besides, if any of them make fun of her she challenges them to dancing a classical Indian dance. Yeah, don't do it.

Where do we start Vidya Malhotra's story? Perhaps from when she was born? *yawns* "Yaar, start from somewhere mast and fun!" Mast and fun? Hmm. Perhaps her sister's wedding would be a good start, but then we would be missing everything about how Vidya got into dance and came to be at Ridgeport. So I guess we'll start from when she started dancing.
Most families in India now a days are very modern. Especially in cities like Delhi, where Vidya was born. Short skirts, bikinis, the works. Vidya Malhotra's family? Not so much. It's not that their backwards, living as though they live in a little village where they use hot rocks as irons. No, they're pretty good with that stuff. Their values are what remain traditional. They don't think that going out to parties or living alone or staying on the internet in your room all day are the best things in the world. Yeah, no.
With the Malhotras, all the girls know how to cook, clean, sew and most importantly dance. Traditional Indian dancing has been something taught in the family for generations. These modern dances, hop hip and lock pop? They're not huge fans. So classical Indian dance has been the only dance any of the Malhotra girls have ever learned. And none of them really complained. They enjoyed the traditional dance. And their life style. They were after all, simple Indian girls.
All of them, but Vidya. She's the baby of the house. And she's used to getting her way for the most part. And Vidya wanted to learn more. She loved classical dance and dancing with her mother and grandmother but she wanted to learn other things as well. So she begged and begged her parents to let her learn other dance, but they wouldn't listen. They said that they didn't have the time to take her and that she should focus on her studies like her sisters.
But Vidya didn't want to be like her sisters, Anjali and Radha. She wanted to be a dancer. Solely a dancer. So when the family moved to America two years ago, after Radha's wedding, so Vidya's father, Abishek, could branch out his hotel business? Well, it was almost the perfect opportunity for her to ask to go to a dance school because in America there were actual instructors and schools made for girls like her. She even threatened to run away if her parents didn't let her go to school for dance. And when they laughed, thinking she wouldn't, she actually did. She joined a circus, as cliche as it sounds. There was actually a group of dancers there, one of the members whom was a fellow Indian. She was the one who told Vidya about Ridgeport and what a great school it was and how she had branched out into so many other dances there. So Vidya found her school and had her bargaining chip. She promised her parents no more tricks or anything of the sort. She would keep up her grades and still major in science once she got to college, she loved science anyway. All they had to do was send her to Ridgeport. And after a lot of debating and looks that said "Iss, larki ka kya karge hum?"What will we do with this girl? They said yes and here she is (she lives with an uncle). Though she misses home. Mainly her mother's parathas and daal. And gulab jamun and jalebi. The ones in the states aren't nearly as good as the ones back home. She misses her sister and grandparents. She misses home. Though whenever she says so, everyone laughs and just says "Humne kaha tha. Joa, dur jao apni school ke liye."We told you so. Go, live far away for your school.Though they all know that this is what Vidya wants and as long as she stays true to herself, and keeps up her studies, they don't really mind. After all, everyone wants to keep the baby of the house happy.

Analeigh Claire Livingston
[ Nicknames ]
She prefers that you call her Analeigh, but isn't opposed to being called Ana or some variant of her name.
[ Gender ]
Female
[ Age ]
Seventeen, almost Eighteen
[ Occupation ]
Modeling
[ Grade ]
Junior
[ Years of Attendance ]
This is the third
[ Appearance ]

[ Face Claim ] Angelina Jolie
[ Eyes ]
Her eyes have been compared to that of a cat, they are green. But the kind of green that is intelligent and all knowing.
[ Hair ]
Long brown hair so dark that it is almost black. Long is kind of an understatement, her hair reaches the middle of her back and where she is so tall it just makes it that much longer.
[ Body Type ]
Analeigh has often been compared to a willow tree, she is 5'11" but that has seriously helped with her modeling.
[ Distinct Markings ]
She has big beautiful lips, like really big. When she was younger they were the butt of a lot of jokes, but now that she has blossomed into a truly gorgeous girl they are the envy of many. Analeigh has two tattoos despite her agent being against it, one is the word promise on her pinky and the other is an outline of a heart on her hip.
[ Personality ]
When it comes to new ideas, she isn't interested in brooding – she wants to go out and experience things, and won't hesitate to step out of her comfort zones to do so. Analeigh is imaginative and open-minded, seeing all things as part of a big, mysterious puzzle called life. As she observes, forming new connections and ideas, she won't hold her tongue – she is excited about her findings, and will share them with anyone who'll listen. This infectious enthusiasm has the dual benefit of giving her a chance to make more social connections, and of giving her a new source of information and experience. She enjoys both small talk and deep, meaningful conversations, which are just two sides of the same coin for her, and she is adept at steering conversations towards her desired subjects in ways that feel completely natural and unforced.
All this adaptability and spontaneity comes together to form a person who is approachable, interesting and exciting, with a friendly, empathetic disposition. She gets along with pretty much everyone, and her circle of friends stretches far and wide. She is a natural explorer of interpersonal connections and philosophy, but this backfires when what needs to be done is that report sitting right in front of her. It's hard for her to maintain interest as tasks drift towards routine, administrative matters, and away from broader concepts. It's not uncommon for her to lose a bit of sleep asking herself why someone did what they did, what it might mean, and what to do about it. All this overthinking isn't just for her benefit - she is very sensitive, and cares deeply about others' feelings. A consequence of her popularity is that others often look to her for guidance and help, which takes time, and it's easy to see why she can sometimes get overwhelmed, especially when she can't say yes to every request. While emotional expression is healthy and natural, she views it as a core part of her identity. Particularly when under stress, criticism or conflict, she can experience emotional bursts that are counter-productive at best.
[ Biggest Strength & Fatal Flaw ]
Her biggest strength is how easily she can adapt to social situations. Analeigh is very skilled in making friendships and networking. Her foot is already in the door for modeling and she is believed to have a very bright future ahead of her.
Her fatal flaw is the fact that she loathes being micromanaged and restrained by heavy-handed rules – she wants to be seen as a highly independent master of her own fates. Her agent/mom definitely doesn't like this particular trait.
[ History ]
The marriage of Winston and Ava was less geared towards happiness, but made to combine two thriving companies. They never knew each other even though their parents made them spend time together growing up almost on a daily basis. Their union wasn't unhappy obviously, they learned to love each other after time. They were married for almost five years before they actually said "I love you". Analeigh was one of the only unplanned parts of the entire marriage, she was the product of one drunken Valentine's dates. Yet they weren't able to have a lot of time for her. She was raised by nanny after nanny. Why you ask? Analeigh only wanted affection from her parents and when she wasn't able to receive it, the little girl would act out. Even to the point where she would be so devilish that they would quit. Her parents didn't let that deter them, they continued to get nannies for her, the next one meaner than the last.
Analeigh eventually decided that acting out was not the way to get her parents' attention, so she turned to doing good. It was in this point of her life that she started to look into modeling, the young girl was obsessed with the show ANTM and figured it couldn't be that hard. To her surprise she was right. She mentioned one day to her mother that she wanted to get some test shots done and send them to a few companies. Analeigh received amazing responses from each agency. Her father assumed head of the family company and her mother stepped up and became her lead agent.
She had a brush with an eating disorder when one of the companies wanted to her be thinner. She was able to get help early on before it got to a worse place. Though she does fear it could happen again to her.

[ Biggest Fear ]
Being inadequate. Her entire soul desires to prove herself to the world around her and be the best person that she can. Yet, as independent as she is, if someone was to tell her that they didn't believe in her or they thought she wasn't good enough it would completely destroy her heart.
[ MEM ]
Being as willowy as she is there isn't much for her in the breast department. That being said, at a formal event last year she had on a long red dress. The front was beaded intricately, so much so that her mother thought it couldn't be taken in. Instead they went the fake boob route and stuck them in her dress with double sided tape. The room was really hot and the dancing she was doing eventually made the tape dissolve. As she was leaving one of the fake boobs slid out of her dress and onto the floor in front of some upperclassmen.
[ Other ]
She loves yoga and does it often to keep in shape. She also believes in ghosts and being able to contact them as well. She won't mess around with most of it because she doesn't want to invite bad spirits but a few times here and there she will try to contact the dead.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ εvεηιηg яαү ρяεscσтт █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁↳Nickname: Most people call her Eve- she really doesn't bother introducing herself as 'Evening' because it's kinda incredibly formal, so few people even know about her mother's unique choice for her first name.
Gender: Female
Age: Seventeen
Occupation: Dance
Grade: Senior
Years of Attendance: Four years↳Appearance:

"At first I thought I couldn't but now I see/
That the shadows kept me hidden/ From the light that calls my name."
Hair Color- Naturally, her hair is a dark chestnut color, though the summer before her first year at the academy she dyed it. Her mother hated it of course, said it made her look like some trashy news reporter. Since than, Eve has continued to quietly maintain it and Mrs. Prescott continues to make a sound of disgust every time she sees the 'blonde cancer' has persisted.
Eye Color- Bright blue
Height- 5'4"
Body Type- Weight is very hard for Eve to maintain -doctors say it's a symptom of the condition, though she swears it's just a fast metabolism- so her build is a little on the fragile side.
Distinctive Markings- She does have a tattooor two or threethough you'll never hear it from her. Not because she's embarrassed of them or anything, her mother would probably disown her though. Eve was strategic about the placement too, so hardly anyone knows about their existence.
Faceclaim: Emily Bett Rickards
Personality: When considering her past, it'd probably be easy to understand her going completely off the rails and/or turning into a mega-bitch. While it's true a lot of people allow their circumstances to define who they are, the same cannot be said for Eve. Surprisingly enough, the girl has somehow managed to stay chipper and she prefers to look on the positive side before seeing the negative in anything. After all, why focus on all the ugly things in this world when there's so much beauty right under your nose? As well as being an overall optimist, the girl's also kind of a bit of a dorky clown. She doesn't actually set out with that intention in mind, sometimes words kind of fall past her lips without her actually thinking about them. Word vomit.
To put it lightly, it makes her not exactly suited for a life of high social class. One of the many ways she's disappointed her mother.
Eve can also be extremely daring. Like, sometimes stupidly so. She doesn't necessarily mean to be, it's just- well, she learned long ago that there's no time like the present and you never know when will be the last time you have the opportunity to do something. This philosophy may have gotten her labeled as rebellious despite her angelic appearance, but she doesn't really care. What others think of her has never much mattered to Eve and she doesn't intend to ever let it stop her from doing something. If she wants to dance in the rain or drink another beer well past her limit or, hell, even climb a fence into private property- well, you can bet nothing is going to keep her from doing it.
The resulting adrenaline rush will totally be worth the potential of a cold, hangover, or even jail time.↳Biggest Strength:
↳ Her ability to stand her ground. I mean, you may think she's this delicate little flower who can be toppled by the slightest gust of wind, but she is no mere daisy. In fact, she's like a sturdy weed -okay, probably a bad analogy- who's not going anywhere once she sets down her roots. And that kind of goes for everything you can think of- she doesn't abandon people once she's found something redeeming in them, she remains steadfast in anything and everything she believes in, and she's all around an extremely stubborn human being. Which, if you ask Eve, is a very good trait to have.↳Fatal Flaw:
↳ Arrogant assholes. As in, they somehow simultaneously manage to piss her off and turn her on. It's this awful, torturous paradox of conflicting emotion between her brain and her body. Her brain knows, 'no Eve, that guy is, in fact, a bit of a douche' while her body is perking up like, 'why hello there, attractive sir.' It's just. It's the worst form of hell there is because Eve may throw caution to the wind when it comes to living, but guys are the one form of exception.
Family/History: There's not much to say about Eve's history- though her family? Well, that's a different story. Or, more accurately, there's a lot to say about Eve's twin sister. The Prescott family is one of high social stance, as is the case for most of the kids who attend Ridgeport: Daniella Prescott is a member of the House while Eric Prescott works for the FBI, his family remaining in the dark as to what it is, exactly, he does. They have never exactly been the most orthodox pairing, Daniella bursting with the need to be around people, at social gatherings and events, and Eric being much more reserved due to the nature of his job. But when they became pregnant with Evening and Ashley, all doubts of their relationships ceased. After all, only a perfect couple could be gifted with such little angels, right? Only, these little angels came with a catch and that catch's name was Cystic Fibrosis.
But not even twins are born the exact same and, as they aged, it quickly became apparent to the various nannies and maids that one of them was much sicker than the other. Ashley experienced symptoms as early on as age four and the twins often had to be separated whenever Evening had so much as a cold. A cold could be detrimental to Ashley's heath, which only got worse as she got older. When Evening was twelve, she could vividly recall herself watching her mother as she brushed her hair in the vanity mirror for some elite social event, wrinkles more prominent in her aging face. "Is Ashley dying?" She'd learned about the concept of dying on a T.V. show and the words had left a sting in her mouth- one sharper than the slap her mother proceeded to deliver to her cheek. "You will not speak about your sister like that, do you understand me?"
It turns out Evening was a bit of a prophet, because two years later, Ashley passed away in the hospital. Later that year, Evening found herself in Ridgeport, with an opportunity to shape the raw dancing potential she had- dancing potential that had made hospitals a little more bearable, both for her and her twin sister. When Eve dances, it's a little like Ashley is there again, smiling behind dim white sheets up to her chest and clapping with ghostly hands attached to dwarfing wires. Since than, her and her mother haven't had the best relationship: she can understand why, seeing a face nearly identical to Ashley's is difficult. But just because she understands don't mean she can forgive as easily.
Biggest Fear: Letting a disease cripple her, both literally and figuratively. The day she stops dancing and stops living because of a condition she's known about since she was four will be the day hell freezes over and camels figure-skate. In other words, not likely to ever happen.↳MEM:So you know how she mentioned breaking into private property? Well she knows a little bit about that, because she may or may not have done it. Once.Or twice.I mean, listen, there was a pool there and everything and a girl can only be tempted so much before she breaks. And fences and a pool? Definitely Eve's breaking point. So yeah, she may have been apart of that 'breaking and entering' life to get in the pool- but the water felt so good and no one would really call the cops, right? Wrong, Really wrong, as a matter of fact. They did and she got arrested. In her bathing suit. And somehow, the paparazzi was involved. Long story short, not only did the newspaper get pictures, so did SOS.
Other: Eve does have Cystic Fibrosis, though she's not showing any major symptoms as far as the doctors know.
