⋊Adeline Daphne Shephard | 23 | Female | Heterosexual | Air Elemental⋉As curious as Adeline is, she has discovered numerous little tricks over the years, including: the manipulation of wind to form some nasty weather; air solidification to crush, repel, and/or move objects of varying sizes and weights; deoxygenation, particularly nifty for depriving an enemy of breathable air; and(her personal favorite, though seldom used) the ability to create combustion and explosions by forcing turbulent elements to ignite through friction.⋊Power Description⋉⋊Appearance ~ Daria Sidorchuk⋉Adeline is one of those people who appear deceptively harmless, then she opens her mouth. Due to her heritage, people will think that with her upbringing, she should have a naturally gentle demeanor. But while she speaks with a mild tone, her words are sharp, quick witted with such a smooth delivery, it often takes a few moments for people to feel the burn of her acid tongue.

Smart and perceptive with a strong set of beliefs that she will stand by until the very end, Adeline is loyal and tries to help everyone, but her willingness to come to the rescue will be her downfall. She will work herself to the bone, not for her own benefit but for another, trying to make them happy or at least make their life a little easier.⋊Background⋉
As much as her mother likes to imply it, Adeline was not in fact the result of immaculate conception. She was the product of a rather inappropriate one night stand with a fire elemental. Seeing that Rosaline Shephard was a water elemental, she knew she had to keep the encounter hush hush to keep from being shunned by her people. As soon as Adeline was old enough to think for herself, however, it was clear that there was definitely some interspecies breeding going on.
From a young age, Adeline had always been a bit troublesome. Growing up in a private community for her mother’s element, she had a hard time following orders, always asking questions and trying to take short cuts. She couldn’t conform to the streamline culture and it always made her feel like a bit of an outcast.
Adeline didn’t mind this, though she was more than a little relieved when it was revealed that her element was not water, but air. Here, she was finally able to excel. Her questions were answered by her instructors, and she was able to freely explore her abilities. Finally, she was able to experience the inner peace she had glimpsed in her childhood without it feeling like it was limiting her potential.
Over the years of living among her element, she received discrete praise from her elders enough to be offered an elevated position in the community, becoming the second in command to their leader. With her undying thirst for knowledge, Adeline couldn’t see a better way to learn.

1.) Ｐｅｒｓｕａｓｉｖｅ Elle has this awe about her, that makes you want to do what she says. She could tell you why she thinks the way she does, and all of a sudden you start to follow along with it.
2.) Ｇｏｏｄ－ｎａｔｕｒｅｄ You really know someone when you can see the things that the person keeps deep down. Deep down, Elle is a kind and good person. It's simply in her nature to be this way.
3.) Ａｄｖｅｎｔｕｒｏｕｓ Elle likes to go that extra mile, or that extra leap. She wants to see and feel everything. Who wouldn't want that? To say that they've done extraordinary and seen things just as exciting.
4.) Ｑｕｅｓｔｉｏｎｉｎｇ Once suspision crosses Elle's mind she can't stop asking questions. She has this deep curiosity that prevents her from not asking. This is what gets her in the most trouble.
5.) Ｉｍｐｕｌｓｉｖｅ Elle often makes rash desicions on a whim. Elle believes that if you feel something then you must act upon it. Your heart knows how you feel, and though sometimes it may lead to heartache the best things are born from just that. Heartache.
6.) Ｐｏｗｅｒ－ｈｕｎｇｒｙ Elle doesn't like the feeling of being helpless, in fact she hates it. That's why she relys on her power, and when she trains as hard as she does. She won't be powerless and she won't be a victim. And don't ask why she's like this, you might regret it later.

We're not going to start at Elle's beginning, no where going to look at her mother's. When Veronica was in her mid twenties, let's just say she got into a bit of trouble... A LOT. She would party all the time, wake up in a strangers bed every other night. It was not good, and Veronica should have known that something bad was going to happen to her sooner or later. One night Veronica was walking back to apartment, when a man popped out of an alley way. He was handsome, Veronica was sure of that but something was ... Off. He told Veronica not to scream as he dragged her deeper into the alley. The man ripped at her clothes, and well... You know where that story goes. But to her surprise, two weeks later, she didn't get her monthly meaning one thing, yup. She was pregnant!
Being pregnant women with Elle was a big change for Veronica. She didn't know if she was supposed to get an abortion, or even to give the baby up for adoption. Not only that, but Elle could no longer go out to parties like the rest f her friends, she couldn't touch alcohol, and most of all she couldn't smoke. No matter how bad she wanted too, the sweeping belly reminder was enough to help put a bottle or a cigarette down. But once Elle was in Veronica's arms she knew that it all was worth it. Elle grew up just like any other child. She loved painting, and watching leaves blow in the wind, but one thing she didn't like , was boys. It wasn't like she thought boys had cooties, it's just that once Veronica thought Elle was old enough, Veronica told her the story about how Vee got pregnant. That killed boys for Elle forever. This didn't change even after her mother got married when Elle was 15. She thought Vince was nice it's just... Why would she want to be with a person that could violate her like that? It wasn't to long after that Elle got her powers. A boy had been following her around school, leaving love notes and buying her flowers. Elle didn't have the heart to tell him that she just wasn't interested. One day the situation turned, it was spring formal, and the two teenagers dance. The boy asked Elle if she wanted to go for a ride. Elle didn't see the harm, and she thought it was the best way to explain to him that she is gay. Apparently Elle had been giving mixed signals to him, and well... He parked his car in a shady area where no one could see them. Startled Ele started to inch closer to her side window. The boy ably wanted to make out, but he wouldn't get off of her wen she yelled stop. So when Elle threw her hands outward, he went flying backward and hit his head on the window. He never woke up. She killed him... And those beautiful green eyes haunt Elle in her dreams. The eyes that made her run away from home. Away from the only family she knew of.

PERSONALITY ▪ wild and royalty have never really been so synonymous in narc's case. raised for the court but born for the party, narc is one of the few social butterfly scorpios. also an esfp, she loves people, conversation, and good memories of times heated by passion and not war. she hates fighting, but will never back down from one; she has a scar on her temple to prove it. she hates imperfections on herself (ie. slight narcissistic trait) and tries to hide her scar with her bangs.
HISTORY ▪ born of the queen and king, terrace and solan lyons, she was raised to be the next leader. her ascendance was smooth and took little trouble on anyone else's part. her mother died of a really bad flu, her father of what everyone considered heartbreak. narc took their deaths pretty hard, but she rebounded in a bout of rebellious drinking and late parties that kept most of her neighbours awake through the long weeks of her mourning. she got her scar at a young age when she went with her mother and a friend of the family, a fire elemental, to a call about child abuse. she met her lifelong friend and blood sister, abela, there as well. she has had very few enemies, but this will likely change.
