Amazons

We are a nation of women, dedicated to our sisters, and to our gods. Granted life by Gaea, the goddesses, and the souls of women past, we have been gifted with the strength and ability to protect our lands.

Information:
Amazon warriors are a race of exquisitely beautiful tall women. They are extremely athletic and talented, and very independent. They are ruled by a Queen and subsequent royal family. In general, they are firmly against males, only ever meeting with them for reproduction purposes. They live on an island, a large one. They are separated from the Gargareans by a mountain range, and their side is known as Themyscira. It is large, wild land run by the women. They have a base city, but roam out frequently to hunt.
They do have some males among them. Not as warriors though. The males held by the Amazons, all slaves, aren't common, but not exactly rare. They are usually captured Gargareans. The male children from slaves are taken to the Gargareans if it is the right timing, though if it isn't the child is generally just left out to suffer nature's consequences. After a few days they go back to where they left the male child. If it survived, the child is considered strong enough and is raised to be another slave.
Sometimes an Amazon will take a slave as a consort, which is officially acceptable, though the other women don't approve.
Once a year they meet with the Gargareans in a city built in the mountain ranges to reproduce. Nine months later a small group from each will go back to the city, and male children are given back to their fathers.

Gargareans

We are a civilization of men, dedicated to our gods. Granted life by the gods and the spirits of warriors past, we have been gifted with the power and will to protect our lands.

Information
The Gargareans are the counter to the Amazons: Tall, attractive males. They are as much warriors as the Amazons, strong and independent. They are ruled by two Kings that work together. One is more of a general, where the other deals with ruling the people directly. They live on the opposite side of the mountains than the Amazons, and their lands are known as Thalarion.
Much like the Amazons, they have slaves. All their slaves are female, and again used for reproductive purposes. The females from these meetings are taken to the child exchange meetings if it is the right time, but otherwise the female child is generally just left out to suffer nature's consequences. After a few days they go back to where they left the male child. If it survived, the child is considered strong enough and is raised to be another slave.
Every year they meet with the Amazons in the mountains to reproduce. Nine months later they meet up again, and the male children are given over to the Gargareans.

Traditions
Styrs
Once a year, some from each side make the trek through the Cylk (silk) mountain range. They meet in a temple on the Cylk mountain the range was named for. There are many rooms there, separated by thick walls. Each Amazon pairs with a Gargarean, and they take a room to reproduce. They stay a week before making the trek back home. Mating with the same person more than one year is discouraged, as they don't want emotional attachments forming.
Exchange
Nine months after the Styrs, the two tribes again meet at the Cylk mountain temple. In a practice known simply as the Exchange, male children born from Styrs are given to the Gargareans. Any female babies the Gargareans have from slaves are given over to the Amazons to take back home.

Physical
Build
Strong and muscular, with an average of 5’11 for a female, 6’2 for male.
Average life span: Unknown. Can only be killed by battle wound.
Hair
Female usually keep it fairly long, but it's not unusual to find shorter hair. With men, it's usual for them to have short, but will find long. Color varied. Silver, white, black, red, brown, blond, or any normal human color.
Face
Eyes can be any color (Ex purple, green, etc). Features are usually sharper and more angular.
Body
Tattoos not uncommon, but more common is paint. When going into battle it's normal for them to paint their faces or body with intricate designs.


Abilities
»Enhanced Condition
↳The user is at the peak physical and mental condition that is can achieve without any supernatural methods and remain that way with little or no maintaining. This entails that they are faster, stronger, more intelligent and overall superior to fellow members of their species without being obviously supernatural.
⇢Immortality
↳Users possess an infinite life span, and can shrug off virtually any kind of physical damage. Some users are the defensive type, simply preventing such damage from appearing (invulnerability/protection), while others are the regenerative type, surviving and quickly recovering from anything you throw at them.
⇢Decelerated Aging
↳The user either ages slower than normal. Once they become physically mature, this kicks in to the extreme. They can, for example, be 700 in actuality and only look to be in their early twenties.
⇢Enhanced Agility
↳User with this ability can go from one motion to another effortlessly, effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial implements with little effort.
⇢Enhanced Balance
↳User has both extremely well developed sense of balance, the positioning of limbs and the center of balance as well as the physical condition to use these facts. This combination makes them almost impossible to being knocked down/imbalanced, falling down and able to recover from momentary imbalances near instantly.
⇢Enhanced Beauty
↳The user possesses a level of grace, physical beauty, sense of style and social poise above that commonly found on earth. This is the level of beauty of a storybook princess or fairy-tale prince charming, but is below the level found in goddesses of love and beauty such as Aphrodite, or heavenly beings like angels and archangels.
⇢Enhanced Durability
↳The user's physical durability (ability to endure/resist damage) is extremely high, allowing them to take numerous blows of internal or external assaults before succumbing to the effects.
⇢Enhanced Flexibility
↳User is able to bend and twist their body far beyond the normal limits of physiology, although still only from the joints. Their joints, muscles, tendons and physiology in general is modified to allow the user perform near-boneless looking contortions without stress or damage and stay in any position they choose as long they need without effort or strain.
⇢Enhanced Instincts
↳The user has stronger instincts than normal, not necessarily predatory or prey, but also battle instincts or parental instincts. They tend to abandon logic and play with pure instinct, generally making illogical but successful moves.
⇢Enhanced Intelligence
↳The user has intelligence that is significantly above standard genius level intellect. One is gifted with higher mental faculties such as a more powerful memory, better calculation skills, greater reasoning skills, and a more superior learning capacity. At this stage, an individual can often come up with unique and original ideas that elevates the thinking of humanity to new levels.
⇢Enhanced Memory
↳Users can remember great volumes of information, in greater detail and for much longer than the average human, they can read books, listen to song lyrics, encounter people or experience events and recall a vast deal of the details of their experience. In addition, it takes less effort to recall the information they encounter, and they can remember it for longer without having to strain.
⇢Enhanced Reflexes
↳User has drastically enhanced reaction speed, allowing them to dodge bullets, catch flies in mid-air, dodge and maneuver around complex attacks, catch falling objects, block detriments and react instantaneously to what others take more time to react to.
⇢Enhanced Senses
↳The user has extremely accurate senses, allowing them to see, hear, smell, taste, touchand/or feel more than an average member of their species.
⇢Enhanced Speed
↳Users can move much faster than the average member of their species, some near or at the speed of sound, or even faster. However, this power is not without any ill effects, as it can strain the body, although some users may be resistant or even immune to the effects of high speed travel, including friction, g-force, inertia, etc.
⇢Enhanced Stamina
↳The user's body is highly resistant to the build-up of fatigue toxins in their blood, allowing them to be physically active for considerably longer periods of time than the average member of the user's species.
⇢Enhanced Strength
↳Users have incredible ability to defy weight limitations, but not completely break them. Dense, lengthy, or overweight items are easy to move and simple to use in nearly any manner. Users can crush, lift, throw, or catch items of great weight.
⇢Regenerative Healing
↳The user can rapidly regenerate, in other words, they recreate lost or damaged tissues, organs and limbs. The rate and amount of healing varies widely, some can regrow missing limbs, others must put the limb back in place for rapid regeneration. They are generally in very good physical shape as their bodies are constantly reverting to healthy state.
»Enhanced Combat
↳The user is unbelievably skilled in most known forms of fighting. They can be exceptionally proficient in the fighting traditions of a variety of cultures and become advanced with their own individual methods of close quarter combat, including martial arts (from all over the world), boxing, and wrestling. They can also become superhumanly skilled in their use of weaponry.
