Amazon Ranks
High Ranks
Queen
A woman who oversees leadership of the tribe as a whole. She dictates the inner workings, as well as deals with the diplomatic side of things. She usually acts as General as well, planning battles and coordinating attacks.
In the event of a Queen's death, the next living female relative takes the crown. If there isn't one, a large tournament is held. The one who wins the most contests becomes new queen.
Heir
The child of the Queen. This woman inherit the crown when the Queen dies. If she is under 50 when the queen dies, then the eldest 3 warriors will rule until the heir comes of age.
Priestess
A woman chosen from birth. This is a highly respected position. The priestess serves their goddess and is said to speak to them. They are chosen at a young age raised to this position. They have virtually no fighting skills, and must rely on their Guard for protection.

Inner Ranks
Spiritual Guard
Generally made up of the best fighters in the tribe, the Guard watches over the Priestess. They are sworn to her, and in the oath must swear to lay down their lives. They are not slaves, they are personal protectors. It is a great honor to be chosen, but one does have the option to refuse. The oath is short and to the point:
From this point forward, I swear to you my Lady. My sword is yours, as is my life. It is my duty and honor to protect you as you serve and speak for our goddesses.
Healer
These are very important- they know how to heal pretty much any sickness and any wound. They have extensive knowledge of herbs and anatomy. However, they don't have as much knowledge of fighting techniques. As the Amazons are immortal except to battle wounds, they (obviously) specialize in wounds.
Blacksmith
Usually the bigger, stronger people of the tribe. They are the ones that make the weapons for all the fighters. This is the ONLY rank that could possibly be filled in by a slave.
Guardian
These are the elite warriors, proven for their strength and skill. There can be several, however, this honor is usually only bestowed on those warriors who are older and more experienced. They are expected to be able to do battle, and kill to protect the tribe. Their job is to keep watch on the edges of the territory for any enemies. Should they spot some, they fend invaders off. If the attacking group is large enough, they fall back and get the Warriors. In war, they usually command groups of warriors.
Warrior
These are the basic soldiers of the tribe. Everyone besides those with specified other ranks, is a warrior. They are fierce and dedicated to their tribe. It is expected that when fighting, they are willing to kill to defend their people. They are all trained in many different weapons, though they may specialize in a certain kind. All are trained to fight on horseback as well, and they act as hunters.
Apprentice
The young, more inexperienced members. They are in training, learning from the best warriors and Guardians. There is no one specific teacher for the apprentices, all of the warriors just pitch in to train the apprentices.

Gargarean Ranks
High Ranks
First King
This is the King that rules the people. He knows them better, and it's him that organizes the inner workings of everything. When there are dealings to work out with the Amazons, he works them out. 'First King' is just a title, not a description. They weren't sure what to call the different kings, so it was just First and Second.
Second King
When the tribe goes to war, this is the King that steps up. He is the general, in charge of the warriors and strategy. He has as much power as the First King does. Usually their tasks are separate enough that they don't clash.
Heir
Each King has a child specifically to their side. If the First King dies, his child gets his throne. If one King does not have an heir, a vote among the warriors is cast to nominate a Sentinel for the job.

Modern
High Ranks
Head Scientist
An expert at human studies, mini ring in anthropology. Quite excited to find out the secret to Amazonian immortality and how they have adapted different than the rest of humankind.
Head Scholar
A historian that has done research on the ancient tribes. Very eager to meet up with the different peoples that live here and communicate with them to find out how they have survived and what they've done.

Inner Ranks
Soldier
Any strange land can be hostile, and the Amazons and Gargareans are proven to be such. It's completely logical for there to be soldiers to defend the scientists.
Reporter
As a large find, this is very important. A few different newspapers and we'll know magazines sent their people to go check out what all the hype is about. They're tagging along with the scientists.
Scientist
Various different types, ranging from anthropologists here to study the people and culture to zoologists drawn by the animals living here. (When creating, please put the type)
